We planned to stay here for 3 Nights but finally stayed for 4 Night, just because of the Hostel and the nice people we met there. The kitchen is really really good and we enjoyed to prepare our own dishes in a clean kitchen with the best frying pan we saw on our travel in central america ;-)

Hostal Gaia in Boquete is definitely one of the best places in town. The beds are very comfortable, the hot shower really has a lot of pressure and the staff is really trying to help you whenever they can. But the best feature is the living room with the very comfortable couches, which is just like a casual living room...

I had the pleasure of living in Hostal Gaia for a month while I was attending Spanish classes in Boquete. It is by far the cleanest, most well-kept, homey hostel I've ever stayed in. The owner is a fantastically kind woman and the other two women who work here are also incredibly nice an helpful. They've recently changed locations and...

The new location of the hostel is close to the city center, but quiet and at the riverside. The interior is new, modern and very clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly, so we felt very welcome. You will find a perfect equipped kitchen with coffee for free, a nice living room with a library, a terrace and cozy...

This hostel has been relocated since the beginning of August: no longer behind Suger & Spice, but behind the local school in downtown Boquete. Everything is new and clean at this new location with good WiFi and fully-equipped kitchen. It also has a seemingly nice backyard (under construction when I was there) with a tranquil river running nearby. Although, I...

Hostal Gaia is a beautiful hostel with small dormitory rooms, a great communal kitchen and good wi fi. The people that stayed there when we were there were interesting and friendly. It's a relaxing place and quiet environment where people socialize around the dining table but doesn't break into a party scene. They have affordable laundry services and great tips...

The professional and personable staff (Hilda, Olivia, Diana) is just one of the factors that make Hostal Gaia my favorite place to stay in Boquete. I spent three weeks in Boquete, tried other properties, and feel that Gaia is a great value, draws mature and respectful travelers (for the most part), and offers a well-equipped, shared kitchen and comfortable common...

There isnt a better hostal in Boquete for the $$$$. Clean, cheap, secure and a great location right on the main street about 100m down from the park. Hilda is the lady in charge and she really takes care of her guests. I will definitely be back!

Hostel Gaia is a cheap place to stay for one night. Bed is just 1.80cm long. Rooms are ok but not really nice, shower was ok as well. Staff doesn't speak english, just 1 person could spek a little bit.

“Reserve one of the private rooms with ensuite baths; Room #5 is best, is in a separate and private cabina. To get warm or hot water from the shower, turn on the water only a little. Using the full pressure will give you a very cold shower.”

“the one in the back in the main building was quieter in my opinon. The hostel area upstairs was clean and nice. Full kitchen . one bathroom, bunks and a big t.v. with movies and books available. Free coffee if I remember correctly. no A/C or fan, may need a fan in the hotter months, but not necessary most of the time”
