I chose this hotel after reading other people’s positive reviews. The first two days passed smoothly, the staff is polite enough. However after a few days we started having issues, the AC stopped working and we were given a less suitable room whilst they took two days to fix it which was very inconvenient. Then they had a blocked drain causing the whole floor our room was on to flood. No safety warning was issued and we weren’t alerted to move any electronics, we’re very fortunate the water didn’t reach our extension cable. I’m disappointed that no apologies were made or no compensation was offered, but maybe in Pakistan there aren’t any safety procedures put in place but they should think to put them in place for the future. Apart from that the customer service is good.

I was traveling to Bahawalpur to Jeddah with PIA. And my stop over was Islamabad. And PIA management transfer me to potohar hotel. I Found it very good hotel with free wi-fi and enclouding Lunch and dinner.

Had to stay there as this was the only option, first of all its not clean at all hygienically secondly there was no water or any drinks in the fridge, no towel, no soap, no HOT water in freezing month of DECEMBER! Also there was no door lock so if you stay there and have any valuables on you then good luck as your door can easily be opened with a spare key which I'm sure hotel staff has it. Tried to make extra money for breakfast too. Definitely NOT recommended!

The very nice hotel entrance room doesn´t have nothing to do with the rest of the hotel. Cleaning was very bad and the and the rooms nothing special for the price. At the restaurante the only thing diferente from others menus was teh chinese food

Potohar Hotel under the new management has improved a lot. The rates are absolutely affordable given the quality that is being provided. You should try Pakistani food if you are a fan of spicy food otherwise you can have Afghani pulao. Super internet as well.
