We got a reasonable summer off-season deal; to our luck it was not very hot. 4x4 vehicle is preferred as we need to drive about 15km through graded sandy road. We travelled as a group of 4 families with elderly members & children and chose 5no Deluxe double tented suites. Reception was warm with cold towels, juice, dates & kahwah....

I was fun getting there because you ride the dunes. We stopped at a touristy Bedouin tent for coffee and dates. I would not describe the accommodations as luxurious but different and very good. It was a new and different experience. Sunset from on top of a dune was nice.

We were not driving a 4x4 therefore we were picked up at a gas station about 15 minutes away from the camp. Our room looked like a tent from the outside but it was actually a luxurious and spacious room inside. Breakfast and dinner are both inside and outside of the restaurant and are a rich buffet of both typical...

The camp is most expensive among all camps in Wahiba Sands desert. I booked it because of good reviews on all web sites (they definitely have good PR!). I booked a room at 295 EUR / night and on-site they charged me extra for another 30 EUR (for I-don't-know-what). The camp is intended to be a luxury hotel/camp in the...

We stayed for one night at the desert night caps. Such luxury in the desert is amazing. You drive up and come to the camp site. Reception is very friendly and fast. Then your luggage is being driven to your tent while you walk there. The luxury tents are beautiful and have the most amazing showers. Don't forget : you...

Very impressed with the set up of the camp and facilities. Luxury tents with authentic interior. Service was great and program & activities on offer well organised. Sunset drinks on top of the dunes was a great experience followed by dinner in restaurant with live arabic music. Thoroughly enjoyed our time and would recommend for those looking for a more...

We stayed in April so the heat was understandable. At that time of year one night is enough. The glamping tents are perfectly confortable and the dinner buffet particularly good, especially the outdoor BBQ. We enjoyed the sunset over the dunes which really was spectacular and the kids were thrilled and a little scared by the creepy crawly 'Kalahari Ferrari's'...

15km from main road in the desert based between massive dunes. Clean and basic accommodation (with ensuite) but very friendly and responsive staff. Sunset dune bash to top of the ridge with refreshments provided, was a great start to our two nights here ... sunset ok as was a little windy and some stubborn clouds but that's nobody here's fault!

It was great to be in the desert and experience it first hand. The road in was easy with a 4-wheel drive vehicle. We stayed for two nights and did most of the activities. When visiting Oman you MUST spend time in the desert and where better than in 5* luxury. The "tent" has twin beds if travelling with friends, hot shower and toilet (I know I know it's not really a tent) and seating area.
