It was a great experience at hotel. Food is really delicious. Stayed 17 days continuously.
Room Service and Food: Really appreciate the team at Room service as they did a marvelous services to us. Food is really delicious and the choices are standard and many varieties of dishes served. The staff in Room service were really nice guys
Housekeeping: felt bad on this division as they didn't clean the room, toilet too for 17 days. that is a drawback which I need to mention over here about this department. However, understand the Covid situations and regulations
Laundry: I really not recommend to use the laundry service as they don't have a proper system for that. I have given them 5 Dresses to Laundry, unfortunately all are missed and I didn't get back the same as they don't have the same, and they don't know where it has gone. So, don't use the laundry service for your valuable clothes
Reception: Outstanding services by reception team especially Mr Idris
I felt something about one guy named as Jaisal/jasil who has to be behaved little more politely with guests. I felt that he is acting as all the guests hs to be obeyed his directions which is delivering to guest in a rude manner.
Hotel location, Access to city/resources are perfect.
Overall, I recommend this property to stay at Muscat

I travelled from salalah to muscat and reached really late by 3AM exhausted. Asif at reception was sleeping and upon me asking him rates which were available on booking.com he said if you are getting cheap rates online, book yourself. He was unhappy upon me asking him to book directly at reception. I got upset and he even refused to give us booking.
My friend dealt with him after. Next morning I spoke to front Office manager and he understood the situation.
Reshma is professional at reception. She should to train her colleagues.

Haffa house may be modest in its star rating, but it shines brightly thanks to its outstanding staff, patrons the two front desk gentleman who made our stay truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality by Altamash and Mansur. Their friendly smiles and genuine interest ensuring our comfort immediately set the tone for a wonderful stay. Throughout our visit Mansur and Altamash went above and beyond to assist us with any requests or inquiries, they elevates it to a level far beyond its rating. Their exceptional professionalism, personalized service, we left with fond memories of our stay and a deep appreciation for the outstanding service provided by these two gentlemen.
We are coming randomly every week. Despite of staying in different rooms during our visit, we consistently encountered disappointing issues with the shower rooms. The erratic fluctuations in water temperature persisted across different rooms, making it impossible to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing shower.
As repeat guest, its pains us to express such consistent disappointment with the shower rooms. We sincerely hope that the management takes proactive measures address some issues and priorities the unkeep of the rooms to ensure a more satisfactory experience for future guests.

Pros:
1. Budget price: 50 USD for a room with breakfast. Good deal!
2. Good Location for budget travel: The hotel is located in Ruwi area which is a local residential area. You can find cheap restaurants nearby. 5 hypermarket was within 10 minutes walk. The biggest bus station in Muscat -Ruwi Bus Station was 7 minutes walk from the hotel. From that station, u can access to the airport, palace, corniche, and royal opera house by public transport in a cheap price. Frequency is around 20 to 30 minutes.
3. Room is spacious.
4. The hotel provide lunch buffet in a very budget price (3.9 OMR).
5. The breakfast provides enough variety of choices (though choices almost get no changes during our 6 nights stay)
6. Service is generally friendly and helpful.
Cons:
1. The room definitely needs renovation, especially the bathroom!!The room looks very old fashioned. The bathroom is actually clean enough but deal to the old design, it looks dirty sometimes.
2. Weak shower.
3. Better lighting is needed.
4. It always take 10 to 15 minutes for room service.
5. More power sockets are needed for the room.

Excellent staff, Mohammed Asif, reception team, room service and catering staff were excellent, they made our stay very pleasant. The bed was very comfortable and you can tell they provide luxury, surprisingly it was very cost effective, by far the best for the budget. The location is brilliant with lots of restaurants, shops, transport services nearby. If you come to muscat, then this place is the place to stay.

Theres no local bus that I know, I may be wrong, from the airport. I got the hotel to pick up and drop off from their own vehicle at a fee. I think paid OMR10 = ÂŁ20.00 appx each way. Its best to use their pick up service as its a good 30 minute drive from the airport to the hotel.
