Excellent option for camping in Walvisbay, though this place has not that much charm nor beautiful scenary. Friendly staff, good facilities and large camping spots with screens for privacy. This place is very windy (not just the campground, but Walvis Bay). Be prepared as it gets really cold (at least in june :))

Good (and only) campsite in Walvis Bay, some hundred metres from the lagoon. The campsites are divided by wooden covers and big enough. As always in Namibia, you have your own grill site (braai) and also electricity. The facilites were okay, nothing special with rather bad showers (the water was going everywhere except straight down). Technically there is free wi-fi,...

Stayed here for a few nights and was the only place we could camp. Good price, and good location to the flamingos with the town centre within a half hour walk. Staff at reception are extremely friendly and helpful - they will book and sort out excursions if wanted. The maintenance staff on the whole are friendly! Camp sites are...

Lovely self-catering accommodation with restaurant on the premises. Meals are reasonably priced. Undercover barbeque area maintained well and we enjoyed having our own fire. Wood can be bought on site as well. All our needs were catered for without leaving the park.

The unit we stayed in was spacious with 2 bedrooms and an attic where 2 more could stay. The kitchenette well equipped and everything was clean and well looked after. This is an ideal place for a night or 2 stopover in Walvis Bay. The bar on site was poorly stocked and I think a missed opportunity for the owner.

We camped at site 11 first night and then moved to chalet 3 for 2 more nights. The facilities are of very good quality and condition, clean, neat, well maintained and well serviced daily - everything one would expect of classy accommodation. The location is close to the lagoon and out of the town centre. All very well and nothing...

Very close proximity to the lagoon and the flamingo flocks. Good, clean amenities and nice campsites with a braai, washing line, electricity and good privacy. Nice place with good facilities and very helpful staff. Would recommend for a stay in Walvis Bay.

The only place we were aware of to camp at Walvis Bay although there may be others. Each site had power and was close to the central ablution block where the showers were hot. Sites were of varying sizes but even the smallest would fit a 4x4 camper. There are windbreaks to shelter the sites which was welcome and added...

We stayed one night in camping - private site but we had a yappy dog over the back fence and noisy working Russian guys in a unit nearby who came home late and left at 5.00am keeping us awake. So next day we changed to a chalet - very nice and comfortable and no complaints there. They also have a...
