If you are able to stomach the owners condescending attitude towards their hardworking staff, and their cold/tightly wound and rude approach as hosts, then you may enjoy this place. After just arriving, we were reprimanded by the miserable man in charge, for going out the wrong door. His wife had forgotten to inform us about entrance and exit procedures. It...

In many ways this is a great place to stay. In a brilliant central location, with secure parking and a lovely courtyard garden. The rooms are large and reasonably decorated although dated in places. The public lounge is comfortable and the best spot for good wifi. My impression was that things here were done a certain way and would not...

The Secret Garden Guesthouse is located in an excellent central position in Swakopmund. The rooms are situated around a garden and the setting is pleasant. There is secure car parking and access to WiFi. Connectivity from our room was a bit hit and miss but it was no hardship to walk to the lounge where there was good WiFi. Breakfast...

Welcoming chocolate on the cushion. The GH is beautiful decorated and everything is done so well. Very tasteful. Great art everywhere and we discovered new things all the time. The...

was received by a friendly lady. Maybe a bit pushy on the sales pitch for excursions to my taste, but she was certainly doing her job. Ended up booking a boat trip for me and my wife and the "kids" booked a bike trip. My wife noted on the trip leaflet that we were to be picked up at 08:10,...

This is a comfortable guest house, well run and as the name suggests with a charming garden/courtyard in which to unwind after a day out. We had a desert tour and saw all the 'little five' creatures with an expert guide and also a tour to Wallis bay to see Flamingoes and Pelicans and a harbour trip to see seals dolphins...

The room was clean but very cold, just a little better the following day. Good the breakfast. The old owner was very rude difficult to manage with.. Don't forget to leave the key and don't ask for a better wifi!!!! We don't think to make the same choice the next time.

Although the accommodation is fair, the pricing is a tad on the expensive side for what you get. (Very old cathode ray TV set and dated furnishings) The owner/management were extremely rude as a result of which my family and I checked-out after 1 night of a 5 night stay. I could not believe how they spoke to their guests...

I have never in my life and all the places all over the world that I have stayed in , met a ruder host. He has no idea of the hospitality industry. He Is absolutely condecending and thinks he is doing you a favor. A person feels as though you are a total inconvenience to them. I have no idea...
