From Sesriem, via Walvis Bay, We booked 2 nights of accommodation in a camp site (booked via The Cardboard Box) for 8 people. We had 3 campsites booked. Each site has its own toilet, shower, sink, kitchen sink and fire place. The sea mist and green grass was a welcome change from sand and dust of Namibia. The purpose of...

The Alte Brucke Resort is well known and is certainly worth a visit. The chalets are large, comfortable and fully equipped. Secure parking at your chalet. The breakfast is very good and enjoyable. Swakopmund is not a big town so the resort is close to everything and only about 300 meters from the sea.No dinner is served but there are...

The self catering units were very spacious, well equipped, comfortable and well maintained. We opted for breakfast which was a full buffet and well worth it. The only hitch was if you are like me and need WiFi then this place is not for you. The wifi was too slow to do anything and is totally inadequate

Well maintained and having your own toilet and shower means you have a place to safely lock up your stuff while you are being a tourist. I'd stay here again and recommend it to friends. Wifi could be a bit stronger in the camping area. Very secure.

We enjoyed out stay very much -- the self catering rooms are exceptionally spacious, shady parking, friendly staff and so close to the beach. Breakfast was excellent with lots on offer. The only negative was that the wifi was a bit unreliable otherwise highly recommended. Also excellent laundry service.

Lovely camp sites with private ablutions and grass. Very clean and neat and a good central camp to visit Swakopmund. Take a walk to the wonderful Tiger Reef restaurant on the beach and have a drink or a meal there.

This was our second time at Alte Brucke and what can I say? The grounds are still as well maintained as always with green grass on every stand and a private ambition block all to yourself. Everything is well maintained, the staff are friendly and helpful and for this campsite it's about location, location, location. I have never stayed in...

Our friends in Windhoek had recommended this campsite and they were right. Receptionist was very pleasant - go and have a look around and choose a site and come back and pay. A clean grass area with your own very good facilities and we thought N$350 was a very fair price given it is in the city and is busy...
