I stumbled upon this guesthouse when the first one I tried was full. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are large and well appointed, clean and quiet. Buffer breakfast was good too. The Beach House is just meters away and you can hear the ocean at night from the property. Affordable and convenient, just a few minutes drive from... More

Warm and friendly hospitality, wholesome breakfasts, free fast wi-fi and fresh, stylish coastal decor made our visit to Swakopmund very comfortable indeed! Adie and Mack also gave us great advise and recommendations which really made our holiday extra special.

We've recently stayed at Royal Benguela for the third time and each time we were more than happy with this establishment. The staff are so friendly and most helpful and welcoming. I'd like to say the Royal Benguela Guesthouse was a home from home, but it is SO much more beautiful than my home that it would be bit insulting :-) It is comfortable, well appointed, accommodating staff who served a great breakfast, and at the same time, a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Adrienne is a star - we arrived late... More

The Royal Benguela Guesthouse has been so amazingly hospitable. My husband and arrived after a 6 hour drive from Sossusvle quite exhausted. After having checked into a very large and clean room, we asked Adie for help with booking some tours for us. We soon found out that most of the tours had been booked up, but Adie remained persistent... More

We loved staying at Royal Benguela Guesthouse - a beautiful spot tucked away at the beach and close to the city. Delicious breakfast and very comfortable rooms. Proprietors really go the long mile. Don't neglect to have a cocktail with them and learn all the ins and outs of the town + beyond. Very knowledgable, warm, and kind.
