When in Epupa Falls this must be the best place to stay. Beautifully situated under the big palms and nearby the riverside of Kunene river. We didn't stay in the lodge, but in the campsite. The campsite was clean and with a big fireplace. There is a swimmingpool with a bar within the area and we used this for relaxing... More

This was a wonderful oasis after travelling through desert, we were greeted with a warm welcome and had a good sized comfortable room. All areas were very clean and it was a good chance to commune with the nature around us. Epupa falls is a great sight and good photography opportunity. Food and service was good too.

A great location with a viewing deck looking across the river which forms the border. Swimming pool and resting area. The huts are of good standard, clean with shower and wash basin. Small balcony to sit outside. The restaurant was very nice with tasty food provided. The view right outside the entrance gate was not very attractive but just a... More

The pitches on Omarunga Camp are very spacious and all have a water tap, but not all are equally shady and none have electricity. And that's a pity because we stayed there two nights and after two days in the sun, the food and drinks in the refrigerator in the back of our 4WD were no longer tasteable. Toilets and... More

We spend 2 nights at this fabulous camping. Everything was good, the swimming pool, the showers, the campsite along the river ....the view was so beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay. Epupa falls are wonderful, best time to visit is from 3:30pm than the light becomes gorgeous. Take the time to walk on the small path of the hill to... More

We spent a night at both the Omarunga Lodge campsite and it's neighbour - Epupa Falls campsite. Whereas both are relatively similarly placed (Omarunga is just 120m further upstreram than Epupa Falls), we preferred the facilities and atmosphere at Omarunga (Epupa Falls has a bar on-site with a deck overlooking the falls - but this is a double-edged sword as... The Omarunga is located just on the bank of the river. We stayed at the campsite, from which we enjoyed the beatiful landscape. We stayed two nights: it should have been nice spending more days there, just sitting and relaxing, drinking a beer while watching to the river... The staff and the owners are very helpful and friendly, the toilets... More

We spent 3 nights at the lodge which is situated on the banks of the Kunene River at the northern border of Namibia and Angola in the small village of Epupa. The location was perfect, a short walk to the Epupa Falls and set amongst Makalani Palms the lodge was peaceful and very comfortable. I cannot fault the service, it... More

We booked 1 night at the camp and 1 night in the 'lodge' (camp was fully booked for the 2nd night). We arrived (too) late and very tired on 24th Dec. Although a Christmas setup was prepared for the lodge guests and we arrived unanounced Mr Fritz welcomed us heartily and quickly set up a table. After dinner his son... More
