We were traveling around Namibia end of December with a small group. Compared to other places we stayed at in Namibia, it was by far the most unfriendly. the bathrooms were fairly sad looking, and not there was a big hair ball in the corner. At check in, we were told not to show up to breakfast at 7 (that's...

Traveled with friends on a weekend to Swakopmund and decide to try out the Eberwein Hotel for its nod to German architecture. We were very pleased with the staff, whom were very friendly. The rooms were well appointed and not too cold despite it being winter. The hotel is located very centrally and it is just a short walk to...

What a beautiful hotel to stay in. The whole look and atmosphere of the hotel was wonderful, the old German style building is something to behold, and felt very safe. Was great receiving a lunch pack from the hotel for our daily outings!

We had a nice stay of 2 nights. The rooms are perfectly renovated and very clean and the breakfast is nice. Probably the Price are little Bit Too high. The real problem is when you check out one Guy gets immediately into your room and checks if you had have anything out of the minibar ,even when you had paid everything....

We were warmly welcomed at Hotel Eberwein. The hotel is quaint, with splendid old architecture that I am absolutely fond of. Very capable reception and staff. The offstreet safe parking (with permanently stationed after-hours guard) was very much appreciated. Our standard double room was clean, comfortable and private. Breakfast was a splendid affair, with a beautiful cold breakfast buffet table,...

Very friendly stuff, wonderful and surprised German breakfast at the other side of the world ( incl. meat salat), safe parking, close to the central city area and pier. We booked this hotel in Swakopmund to escape the inland heat and loved it

Hotel Eberwein feels like staying in a very nice, comfortable home. The rooms are incredibly clean and beds are comfortable. The bar and restaurant area are bright and airy, breakfast is delicious and includes eggs cooked to order plus home made jams, cakes, breads. Location is perfect, right in the centre of town, 5 minutes walk to the beach and...

The place was very well located, on the main road very close to shops and the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was spotless and comfortable. My taxi was at 3pm but the check out is at 10.30am so the receptionist allowed me to stay in the room until the taxi arrived at no extra cost....

Sad to say what could have been a good-ish review turned sour at check-out. But first the positives: nice clean and largish rooms, free secure underground parking, wifi, a reasonable (but not brilliant) breakfast, in a building with a sense of history. And the less positives: this hotel needs air-con, it was hot in late autumn so I can't think...

What a quaint little hotel, all the staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and tidy, lots of restaurants within walking distance, they do great gin and tonics, what more can we say? Oh yes, there was a decanter of sherry in our room, there told you it was quaint.
