Greeted by a member of staff who seemed a little distracted. We had the large Romeo and Juliet room on the first floor which had a very welcome heater and was nicely furnished with a comfortable bed. Plenty of storage. There was no breakfast buffet but a good menu with excellent coffee. There are a few dedicated parking places for...

My wife and I stayed as part of our road trip around Namibia and Villa Margherita is just perfect. We were luck enough to have the room named Romeo and Juliet, named because of the balcony!!!!! Comfortable with plenty of space and light. The only downside was the rather narrow staircase leading up to the room. The real stars of...

The charming house or villa, it is absolutely true. We stayed in the romeo and julia room, very spacious, nicely decorated, very charming. As they told us for maybe 6 times we were very welcome, we also felt welcome. Diner and breakfast was great. Unfortunately I got sick after a boat trip, but the friendly staff made me some vegetable...

The Hotel is centrally located but still quiet neighborhood. The rooms are always a bit chilly due to Swakopmund's sea climate. Too much darkness in rooms due to dark wooden blinds. Nice breakfast room, breakfast is a la carte. Staff very friendly. Bathroom light difficult as hardly any natural light and artificial light not always ideally placed. Great villa. Great...

My husband and I stayed here 3 days after a tour of Namibia. It is a charming inn with loads of character, a little outdoor garden, a dinner area, and colorful and imaginatively decorated rooms. But the best part is the incredibly warm and welcoming staff--really nice people. They looked at our tired faces, ushered us into the garden, and...

Swakopmund seemed a long way away when we set off from Sossusvlei. So when we got there beneath grey skies on a June afternoon we were tired and needing a little TLC. We pulled up outside a former colonial villa and were greeted by one of the most engaging people imaginable - Carlina, just one of the small team running...

We stayed here four nights, it’s a beautiful place with a very picturesque garden. An old private home transformed into fantastic hotel with big rooms (bedroom and sitting room). It’s walking distance to the beach, centre and all places of interest. Swakopmund is also a perfect place to start day trips, e.g. to Cap Cross and the Moon landscape. The...

The Villa Magherita is in a charming historic colonial building nearby to all sights of Swakopmund. Stepping insight, is stepping into a different century. Each room of the main part is nicely decorated and arranged with love for details. We had the “Adam and Eve” room with a large bed-room, a small sitting room and a spacious bath with bath-tube...

We were booked to stay 2 nights in this hotel, but stayed one night longer. After loads of long distance travelling, it was wonderful to arrive at a "home". The welcome couldn't have been more friendly and the room and bathroom full of little touches, with homemade soaps and local products (all very good). After the stress of driving for...
