Walking through winding streets until your head is spinning with the sights and sounds of the Medina in this beach side city, you finally reach Lunetoile. An authentic Riad that has been fully renovated, it is cool and beautiful on the inside. Sue, the proprietor, (who came out to meet us at the opening of the Medina-- how would you...

Thank you so much for having , and taking, the time to write a lengthy review, albeit, more about Essaouira than Lunetoile, but, that, too, is of interest to would-be guests. Many thanks. We do, as you noted, meet all of our guests. It is a courtesy, even if our riad is one of the easiest, perhaps, to find, as...

We have had a wonderful stay in Essaouira. Everything was done to make our stay a perfect one, and with succes! The guidance from the bus station, the warm welcome with moroccan tea and biscuits. And then the room... We stayed in the appartment and it was fantastic: clean, cosy, well decorated and bright, with the extra luxury of having...

So glad that all went well, with your car-hire, and trip, to the Oasis. Also, thanks very, very, much for your kind comments ~ "Lunetoile IS heaven". Thank you, and come back soon.

Lunetoile is a gem of a riad in one of the quiet alleys in the old town. Charmingly decorated with real Moroccan character. The service was excellent, with Sue on hand for any suggestions of places to eat or explanations about Moroccan life. Great breakfast as well and lovely roof terrace.

Thank you - thank you - thank you..... I would just like to add, that, in fact, as opposed to being situated on some 'quiet alley', we are, actually, on the main road in the medina, but, up at the quiet, northern, end, which makes it easy to find, and easily accessible at night. Thank you, again, for your input,...

Great price and location. really nice touches like fresh flowers, petals on the bathroom floor, nice towels etc. dont expect the views as on the website from apartment 5 anymore as new buildings have blocked it but apart from that its great. Big breakfast included and very friendly staff.

Thanks very much for your review and compliments. Yes, very sad about our diminished sea-view - I'm still trying to fight the situation, but it seems to be a lost cause! The consolation for clients, is the diminished price, which was done immediately the building appeared - over-night! Always very satisfying, thank you, for clients to notice and appreciate, the...

Not sure what else can be said that hasn't already been said about this great place, but....really - if you find yourself in Ess, contact Sue and stay here! There'd been alot of love and care put into this riad. It's got so much character, so many special touches, and so many cool things about it. I'm a guy, and...

Thank you so much for your review, ''discerning traveller'' ...I, too, being a discerning owner, and ''solo female'', feel that our Riad is in an excellent location, at the top end of the main road, as opposed to down some small alley, which can be a daunting feeling for a woman on her own. How nice to have happy guests,...

This place was great! The rooms were massive and really nice. The people were relaxed and friendly. The terrace on the room had a view up one of the main streets but it was quiet.

Nicely decorated and quiet spot in the hectic of the historic soukh/medina. The Moroccan female staff (femmes de menage) is very hospitable and friendly. Magnificent how they end their job in the evening with candlelights on the stairs and Arab or Italian music in the lounge. The small scale makes it easy to meet the other guests in the small...

Thank you so much, for your lovely, honest, review - and I am always happy when our guests challenge the LP guide's incorrect statement re the situation, of Lunetoile. THIS, by the way, has now been acknowledged and rectified, by LP guide! Positive, happy, people generally have positive, happy, experiences - thank you for your happy contribution...much appreciated!

Sweet and charming place with feminine touch. All those heartwarming details: bowls of organges, fresh flowers, books and magazines make Lunetoile feel rather like home than a hotel. Fine location at the end of one of the medina's main streets. The roof terrace is not too big and could use some renovation but the view of the restless ocean and...

The last sentence says it all - '' definitely Lunetoile is a perfect place to enjoy Essaouira'' - thank you so much!
