This Riad was very nice to stay in as it is near the square and in the center of the Medina. All amenities are close by and the beach is just a five minute walk away. The breakfast was very basic but really nice and filling. The people working here were absolutely fantastic and super friendly and on arrival, they...

My girlfriend and I chose to spend a few nights in Essaouira - before heading off to Agadir for the same amount of time. We felt so welcome from the time we checked in to the hotel, to the time we checked out - the staff were so friendly and were happy to answer any query we had regarding the...

The Riad is nice and very easy to find, Reda from the night reception is very helpful and kind. You don't have to worry about how much time it takes to walk from the square to the Riad, it's so close and easy. I was staying during the Festival and I was very comfortable going back to get what I...

Great Riad, location is perfect. Good for single or couples. Restaurant, shops and etc are in walking distance. The room are cute and practical. Only downside was that they had some warm water and wifi problem during our stay. And that was a bummer. Eat where eat locals eat. You'll have great meals for 2 euro a person 😉 Hppy...

The hotel is just off a side substreet, quite a narrow turning which we stumbled on after asking for many directions. The hotel inside is beautiful with the small fountain in the middle. The wifi is only limited to the front reception, which when your room is on the 3rd floor can be a tad restricting.

The rooms are very dark and smell really bad. The beds are uncomfortable and the sheets are dirty. The breakfast is extremely disgusting. The roof our what they call their "terrasse" is dirty, the lights are broken and when you're sitting in it, it feels like you're intruding on the residents of the suite. For the suite it looks more...

This riad was terrible absolutely awful. It smelt of mould and the air was stale. The rooms stunk, the bathroom smelt of sewage and had mould growing up the walls. I saw bugs in the room ( I think a cockroach although not sure) and the room was run with ants. we checked out a day early. I noticed a...

We arrived quite late (23:00) in Essasouira and decided to tag along with some other (Italian) tourists we met in the CTM bus. We tried to take a taxi to the medina but they kept on trying to charge us 40 dirham (10 each) for a five minute ride. So we ended up walking). The Italian couple had booked a...

The excellent ratings and remarks about this great little riad are well deserved. It was very reasonably priced, very pretty and spotlessly clean. The staff are delightful. Essaouira is a wonderful place, offering a little of everything: souk, medina, beach, history, bustling fishing port, relaxed friendly locals. If you do eventually feel as if the magical madness of Marrakech is...
