Very beautiful and colourful interior to this riad. Positioned perfectly for beach or souk. Pleasant staff, decent rooms and normal Moroccan breakfast with breads, olives and juice. No elevator which is not unusual in Moroccan riads. Wi-fi only down in the lounge area. Our room consisted of main bedroom and an upstairs mezzanine room. Bathroom was small and on the...

Located in the center of medina. We are group of 10 ready for check-in. Was surprised with the decoration of the hotel. The rooms were so nice set-up and comfortable feeling. It nicely set up 2 separate beds with one on staircase. Every details are well arranged. Love this place so much and would recommend for those who wanted this...

Brilliant location- close to the beach and situated in the old town. Shops, restaurants and bars all in walking distance. Beautiful authentic decor in the Riad. Friendly staff- communication by email and person excellent .. WiFi connection poor in Upper rooms. Overall a fab stay!!

I only had breakfast here, so this review is for breakfast only as I was visiting Essaouira, and wanted to have a look at this little old Riad for future visits. I must say that the staff were very polite but the service and the quality were very poor for breakfast. First of all, I asked the guy who opened...

We stayed 2 nights in November and had a great stay. The riad is very clean and beautifully decorated. We stayed in bedrooms that opened onto the large and very nice roof terrace, the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff couldn't do more to make us feel welcome or help us out with where to rent a...

This was a very well-located boutique hotel in the old town or Medina. It was convenient for shopping, restaurants, and walking to the main plaza and port and beach. The hotel was interesting with its maze like setup. The room was large with a separate sitting room with a window view. The room was quiet, clean and neat. I would...

Stayed here 2015 and 2016 it's in a great location with fantastic artwork displayed. Very quirky and very Moroccan. Comfy beds, clean and calm. Staff are brilliant, especially the two guys on reception who really can't do enough for you; they made reservations for us, booked a hotel in Marrakech for a two day excursion and gave us some great...

I stayed in this riad for a week. It is well situated within the Medina which is handy but does mean you get some street noise, especially if you have a front facing room, as I did. The room itself was adequate. The bed was OK, the pillows could have been less rock-like. Bench style seating downstairs with the bathroom...

We were greeted by friendly staff and escorted to our rooms. My room was absolutely adorable - bed on a mezanine type room overlooking the sitting area. It was on the front side of the riad so I opened my window shutters to the street - adorable! The internet was not great in the rooms so had to go to...

We spent two nights at the Maison du Sud. The suite was very clean and spacious, although I didn't care for the bedroom being up another flight of stairs, overlooking the living area. It made night trips to the bathroom downstairs a challenge. The entire staff were so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. And there...
