We spent 2 nights at this Riad.It is well situated in the Medina. They have a lovely courtyard. My room was small, clean but shower not very efficient. Meal we're not great except for my anchovy salad an appetizer the first evening really good. The fish tajine was bitter and the second night the fish was again not tasty. ....

We came here for a quick drink to escape the crowded Medina and stayed for ages. The outside doesn't prepare you for the beautiful courtyard with two rose petals filled fountains. This is worth finding for the peace and quiet alone, which is a rare commodity in Morocco. We have spent a few holidays in the country and love the...

I stayed here two nights after hiking in the Atlas mountains, sleeping in tents, dorms and outside. It eas nice with a proper bed, shower and access to cold drinks and food. My heart dif however stay in the amazing mountains in Morocco. The hotel is ok, clean and the staff friendly. It has everything you need.

This is another of the "funky" riads that I experienced on a recent trip to Morocco. It is in the heart of the Medina which means that you will have to walk in from the city gate. Make sure you have good instructions. The port is an easy ten minute walk, depending on how distracted you are with all the...

We stayed here for one night. For the price we paid (very cheap) it's a very good hotel. The staff are very nice and friendly always smiling. The rooms are good for one or two nights spacious And clean. It's in the perfect location with everything easily reachable by walk. The breakfast was also nice considering. Would definitely recommend for...

Ate here one evening and called in for coffee a couple of times through the day. Service is outstanding with very helpful staff. The waiter gave us great advice about where to go and what to see. It's a lovely setting very quirky and with a lovely open patio. Good food.

Take a suite if you can, they are very spacious and not that expensive. great hotel for a short stay in the middle of the medina, clean secure, good service, interesting architecture, a bit impersonal perhaps when compared with out of town boutique resort. Very convenient location to visit essaouira by foot. in the center of the pedestrian medina, full...

Well we are sitting in the quaint Riad Al Madina just waiting to leave for our journey home. This place is as lovely as you can get in Essaouira with its charm and attentive staff. Having spent 4 nights here I will most definitely put this charming Riad as one of the nicest places we have visited. Thank you to...

Me and my girlfriend have stayed in this riad for two weeks and absolutely enjoyed it. The rooms were great. Nicely furnished, daily cleaned. Riad's environment allows you to fully enjoy authentic Morocco. People who complain about rooms' furniture and lack of light should take into account that riads' star rating system is different to hotel rating system. We went...

We visited this hotel as a one-night stop on our round-trip with a group in Marocko. We took a look at three of their rooms and then decided to go out an look for another hotel in Essaouira. Rooms are in our opinion small, dark, sloppy, bad-smelling, moisture-damaged, very basic furnished. Doors have a wooden jalousie which you can turn,...
