"Clean basic rooms, cosy beds added a general atmosphere of homeliness. Lovely traditional breakfast with real butter, honey and sometimes pancakes. Owners and staff very friendly, welcoming and always on hand to give handy tips about where to eat and buy local produce. Will go back for sure!"

Very friendly reception by Chakir and Florence, the French couple running this small, stylish and super laidback riad in the centre of Essaouira. The room and everything else was spotlessly clean, no noises to disturb your sleep, breakfast served on the delightful rooftop terrace. The homemade jams are prizewinning :-). The location is great, right in the middle of the...

This small but perfectly formed characterful Riad is where we stayed while we were in Essaouira for 3 nights which is conveniently located in the Old Medina. Florence our host was a breath of fresh air, so friendly and welcoming, we were made to feel at home instantly. We stayed in a standard double room which was bright and clean....

Very nice and attentive French couple run the place. They always checked in with us on the terrace during breakfast to see how we were doing. The room is small and the toilet and shower are separated by only a curtain, so be sure that you are truly comfortable with your roommate. Walls are paper thin, and you will hear...

The French couple who run this riad are very friendly and extremely helpful, it's almost like staying in a family home. The location is great, on a small quiet street just off a main street (very easy to find) and quiet at night. The room was simple but large and with a good size en-suite. The rooftop terrace is a...

Lovely riad in the medina, close to everything in Essaouira. Florence and the team are so friendly, very accommodating and make you feel very welcome. Lovely mint tea on arrival on the terrace and a great breakfast too. Wish I could have stayed there longer! It was a wonderful trip. There's free wifi and powerful shower in the bathroom too....

After a bad experience in a Riad in Marrakech our stay at the riad Orange Canelle in Essaouira was just perfect. Florence and Chakirs’ riad is a wonderful place. Clean, cozy, a great location, authentic and furnished with a lot of style. Having arrived in the evening, Youssef gave us a real warm welcome and made us the best Moroccan...

This hotel offers light, white and bright rooms just off one of the main drags of the medina. The service was amazing (maps, directions, suggestions, tea and biscuits on arrival!) and the owner is super friendly and always available to help with anything you need. Our room (no. 8) was one of the nicest we experienced in Morocco. Breakfast is...
