Fantastic first long haul holiday with kids! Hotel was superb from start to finish. Service is great with loads of staff - a special shout out to Ravi who kept us fed and watered by the pool and beach all day long! Kids activities were great with my 7 year old able to dip in and out to the things she wanted like henna tattoos and cinema/karaoke in the evenings. Food great in the buffet and the al la carte restaurants also delicious make sure you book when you arrive! AMAZING massage at the spa too! The free boat trips and water sports are great on the doorstep and short/flexible with the kids. My 7 year old learnt to snorkel and we also paid for a longer boat trip where we saw turtles, dolphins and the most stunning snorkelling. The best holiday and we will definitely be coming back one day!

Room Tip: Was a bit cooler than I expected in the evenings so bring a light jacket and jumpers for the kids.

Staying for two weeks! Love this hotel, From the moment you walk in the door it is amazing! The food is great! our room is clean and tidy. The twice daily room service is fantastic and really helps us to relax! This hotel is nicer than I thought it would be which is always a lovely feeling. The staff are amazing so helpful and friendly. The spa service is professional and clean well run. I would recommend to friends and family. the kids club is very good! well run and feels safe. The entertainment is of a good quality. We stayed all inclusive and I feel this is great value. nothing is to much for the staff, from the manager, check in team to the pool guys, and beach boys everything is slick and tidy!! worth the money.

Victoria Beachcomber offered our family the perfect two week holiday. Location and setting ticked every box and there were plenty of activities to do such as water skiing and many other water sports. Overall the food was good but on occasions a little disappointing. Our favourite was the Italian at lunch and waiter Kimesh was really outstanding. We simply had a fabulous holiday and would highly recommend. Also another one of the Beachcomber hotels just north on the island may also be worth consideration....Trou aux Biches as that looked Great! From spotting whales, dolphins and swimming with Turtles it's a great place. Driving a car over there can be a little harrowing as it can get chaotic especially around Port Louis.

The Victoria is a beautiful hotel but coupled with that is the enthusiasm and professionalism of its staff. It’s one of the few places I’ve been where the people working there genuinely want you to enjoy yourself and go out of their way to makes sure it happens. The hotel itself has great facilities, is exceptionally clean, excellent food and feels very safe and welcoming. During my stay I stood on a sea urchin and the on-site nurse was a super star! So was Ravi who made sure I was well looked after round the pool when I could get about too well and the duty manager Suryadev Sahai who constantly checked in on us all to makes sure we were ok and enjoying our holiday as much as we could. Can’t thank you all enjoy!

As most of the reviews state, the staff are a huge asset for this hotel. In true Mauritius style, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is really clean and well maintained. There is ample space for the number of guests so it never felt crowded - including at the main buffet restaurant, where we were always given a table immediately, no queuing at all here. There are ample sun-loungers around the pool and on the beach. The beach is also uncrowded and a wonderful place to spend the day. The food was generally very good, with a large choice available. Occasionally it felt a little ‘safe’ with the flavours but overall would rate highly. The huge pizza oven was very popular, and turned out great wood-fired pizzas. We did wonder if the all-inclusive benefits had been scaled back a bit though, for example it would have been nice to have access to an ice cream during the day which we have had elsewhere, and minibar snacks were very limited. Drinks and bar food were generous however, so this wasn’t a big issue. Overall, this was a wonderful holiday, and we were really well looked after. Would thoroughly recommend.

Where to begin with this beyond perfect Hotel! We booked this for our Honeymoon opting for the Swim Up Room in the Adults Only ‘Victoria for 2’ section of the hotel. We couldn’t believe how immaculate the hotel and its grounds are kept and the staff are extremely friendly and VERY hardworking. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they really go out of their way to make your stay incredible. We were walking to dinner one evening and one of the bar staff invited us to stop for an ‘aperetif’ before dinner by the pool. As it is all inclusive, we were shocked that they go out of their way to ask you to have a drink when usually it is a hotels focus to minimise your usage. Gopi makes exceptional cocktails including making a ‘shrimp’ out of orange peel which hung out of my glass, and my wife’s had an intricate sun again cut out of peel and dried placed on her glass as a garnish - this is not your typical all inclusive, this is like being in heaven. When we sunbathe on the beach, Ramraj comes to check if you would like anything to eat or drink, and serves you at your lounger. Like all the staff, he is exceptionally welcoming, friendly and has a fantastic sense of humour. Shaan (one of the Managers) approached us one night inviting us to come later in our stay to L’horizon, (one of the restaurants on the resort) for a Honeymoon dinner which he would organise and arrange to be something truly special. We were not disappointed - we arrived a few nights later to be personally welcomed by him and led to a candlelit table overlooking the sea. He had chosen a wine from their cellar, and had handpicked from the menu for us including crab soup, calamari, a seafood platter and profiteroles. There was more than this served to us across our evening as he had arranged it specially for us. This dinner alone was an experience that we would normally have booked maybe for an anniversary - we were shocked that it was included in our all inclusive. Our waitress Stephanie was incredibly welcoming and bubbly, and we learnt she was being promoted to Head Waitress the following day after 10 years working at the Restaurant! They really do go above and beyond to give you the most unforgettable holiday. I will never forget the exceptional service and setting of this hotel, this has been the holiday of a lifetime!

My partner and I purchased the Victoria for 2 package whilst visiting Mauritius from Sydney, Australia. We had an absolutely incredible time. Throughout our stay, all the staff were welcoming and professional. They were also very helpful and willing to go above and beyong to ensure that our time at the Victoria was smooth and pleasant. The All Inclusive Package was worth every cent; quenching our thirst and saiting our hunger. We recommend dining at La Casa Restaurant within the resort. The food was fantastic and probably one of the best meals that we have ever had. The table service was excellent and incomparable to any other fine dining resturant. We would recommend this resort to anyone and will definitely stay here again the next time that we visit Mauritius.

The Complex is beautiful and stunning views. Staff are VERY hardworking and nothing is too much trouble. Sanjeev very graciously and quickly sorted an issue with the room when we arrived as it was less than we expected. Food is ok, as adults we could always find something to eat buffet style but evening there wasn’t much choice for picky teenage eaters so a bigger meal was eaten from the bar choice during the day (there was always pasta and pizza) Shout out to one of the main guys in the restaurant can’t remember his name but if I said ‘two pink ladies, room 150’ he really was exceptional in manner and service. Table service in the evenings for drinks outside the main restaurant can be slow but there were a lot of guests so perhaps two people serving and more help behind the bar. The only thing that the hotel really can’t do anything about and probably is to be expected in a tropical environment is the amount of flies, EVERYWHERE all of the time, that said it didn’t ruin our stay but we were pretty fed up of them at the end of the holiday.

Dear Guest, We really appreciate your honest comment on this platform. Joyful that your overall holiday with us was excellent. As you may know, feedback really help us understand our performance and gives us hints about where we are doing well and where improvement in our standards may be required. Victoria Beachcomber would like to apologise for the loophole in regards to the flies you unfortunately encountered in service quality. Being a tropical island, Mauritius benefits from an ideal tropical condition but unfortunately also has insects like flies. In order to alleviate this problem at the resort we have a regular and consistent pest management system in place which ensures that the flies’ problem is kept under control, but which is regrettably not always the case. We hope you will give us another opportunity to welcome you again. Best Regards, Stephanie Brebner Quality Assurance Manager
