Beautiful view. Good service from waiters. Decent snacks and lovely drinks. However, their security is very racist. They loitered around us and continued to walk by us and stare at us. We felt very uncomfortable even though we came in through the reception and asked multiple people permission to sit where we sat and were told it was not an issue. If you are black I do not recommend. The security only approached the only black people.
It has been a marvelous experience at Villas Caroline Hotel . Our rooms are located just in front of the beach with a beautiful view of the sea and sunset. Never experience it though I have traveled in several countries. Foods was excellent though we would like more varieties. Service was good and staffs very friendly. Our holidays was superb and would recommend anyone to visit this hotel.
A thoroughly disappointing stay at Villa Caroline. The place and furnishings could do with some updating, but to the cleaners credit, the room was cleaned to a good standard. The food and menu could use some imagination and hygiene measures, there wasn’t a huge variety and flies were often seen hovering and landing on open food. The worst part of the whole stay is the activities staff and the overall vibe that only white visitors get attention. There is nothing whatsoever available for children, the “kids club” apparently hasn’t been running for quite some time. I enquired with one staff member named Andy, and questioned what there is on offer. I mentioned my child is 2 and he offered scrabble! He and the other activities person never once bothered to say hello or involve us in the group activities they would provide at dinner, but the whites always got lavished by them. Very strange behaviour. Would not recommend staying here if you are not white or have children.…
All staff very friendly Room service very good For buffet i would have preferred more variety. We were 2 adults and 2 children we were not satisfied for we got only 1 bottle of water for 4 days and had to go at the restaurant to refill our bottle..
Really appreciate the hotel welcoming staff nice breakfast lovely atmosphere from 11 to 13 December 2021 will surely come again and highly recommend Peaceful enjoying the sun sea and sand Superior room the best
I've been to lots of hotels in Mauritius but this is the worst experience ever. Check in was not good at all. Despite being there on time our room was not ready and we were asked to go and check from time to time if our room is ready. Staff needs more training, customer service is ZERO. Food was ok but not a big variety. Very limited drinks despite being on all inclusive. Rooms are not good at all very old and needs renovation. There was no WiFi in the rooms. Water are not provided easily need to constantly ask for it. The only thing I liked about the hotel was the view and entertainment. Overall very bad experience and definitely not recommended at all.
For a 3 star, we were surprised by the quality of service. Everything went well. Clean rooms. Good service. Welcoming staff. Elderly parents were more than happy. Food was excellent. Value for menu. Music was great. A good idea to have brunch there. Happy!
First of all i would like to point out that we (me and wifey) did go to this hotel at peak season so the hotel was crowded but our review remains sincere. The room we were given was situated just in front of the sea with a stunning view of the beach and sea. No wifi in the rooms and data connections didn't seem to pass through the walls correctly so you are stuck with almost no connection. The room's decorations didn't change since the hotel opened decades ago. The tiles and furniture are aging and unappealing. The bed's blanket looks like coming from ancient civilisations. The cleaning staff were helpful and courteous however the barmen seems to be more on holiday than ourselves. They took some time to take our orders even if there were no one else to be served and kept on talking loudly between themselves or watching girls moving around. They showed no signs of knowledge in customer service. We were in all-inclusive package and the bar proposed only 3 cocktail choices. The coffee was a soluble ricofy and the food was of no interest at all. We even thought that they are cutting costs too much compared to what we paid. we would have expected much more for a festive season. The hotel would require a complete renovation (both physical and customer service side). The only advantage of this hotel is it is well situated.…
We had a wonderful time at Maritim Crystals. Check in was so quick with Randhir. He also upgrade us to a Junior Suite which was so perfect. Even at the reception Dilesh, Pooja, Thea are so friendly. Special thanks to these people, they are so devoted to their work.
To begin with..hotel had a nice view and everyrything but i would really want to highlight on the service given and the on the food..food was ok but not great variety to choose from and customer service was not to the level..well overall it was not bad nevertheless customer care service needs improvement.
