My boyfriend and I visited in May 2022. From the minute we arrived till we left, we were treated with 1st class hospitality from all staff. The breakfast, lunch and dinner were amazing: so much choice from local delicacies and fresh produce to other non-Mauritian dishes. The facilities were great and the view from the beach was breathtaking. We enjoyed our time there, especially the couples massage at the Cinq Mondes spa. Would highly recommend!

I LOVED THIS resort. It is right next to Sugarbeach and you can use both resorts facilities (interchangeable). Rooms are all ground floor and sea facing. Spacious and amenities are plenty. Incredible wine bar where wine per glass is affordable. Dining is sublime and top quality

Another yet Mauritian vacation, spent in comfort, tranquility, luxury, great service, friendly staff, beautiful people, mesmerizing coast line & fantastic entertainment and food! We came for the New Year'22 holidays and spent a good two weeks relaxing in a total comfort. It is my 7th time back in Mauritius and my husband's first. Luckily I don't need to convince him to come back, and we shall! Place was very clean and neat. Greenery was taken good care of and well kept. The Restaurants were constantly filled with people, yet service never seized to fail our good and satisfied experience. Staff as usual was extremely welcoming, kind and helpful, from Restaurant Service to Cleaning Workers. Management was attentive to absolutely everything going on. Food was tasty with big variety and selection. All Inclusive was worthwhile! We enjoyed the Night entertainment shows and even more the New Year's show. The Special Touch of an welcoming present left in the room for us (La Pirogue Bed Throw) was really sweet. Also, the hotel didn't shy in making a personal gift to our room for the New Years - a beautiful photo frame, a signature little bottle of Island Rum & really tasty and pretty wrapped chocolates . All bars were always stocked with cold beverages and not ones we had been told "it's not available!". Everyone, I mean absolutely everyone was exceptionally friendly, that even the possibility of little misunderstandings are forgotten within minutes. Another really good part of the package was that we could dine at the Japanese Restaurant in Sugar beach as well (they are also part of the Sun Hotels), which was in a way connection to La Pirogue, just few minutes of a pleasant walk. The little Beach Bar in Sugar Beach Resort make the best cocktails ever, especially the Mojitos! Presentation has all heart in it... Different colors of Sunsets you can experience each and every night. Never enough for your album of memories! I believe this hotel has an outstanding Management! Had a lovely time at la Pirogue together with my cousins. It was an all-girls party! We spent the day there. The pool was superb. Want to go back for a dip again. The slide is awesome. The staff at the Coconut bar were very welcoming! Especially Ms Teena. Thank you all the other waiters too. Will definitely go back!
