Lovely hotel and a perfect holiday. Spacious rooms and comfortable facilities. Really enjoyed the food and the service was great. Highly recommend the teppenyaki, service by Wesley and Noella was great. Beach restaurant was also lovely. Housekeeping were really accommodating with setting the room up for our three year old. Most importantly a big thank you to Pravind, the restaurant manager. He really took care of us and made sure our daughter, who is a bit fussy with food, got everything she needed. Many, many thanks!

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed in the Magnifique rooms in this fabulous hotel. The stay was comfortable, the food was delicious, and the hospitality was impeccable! The beaches are clean and the swimming pools heavenly. We're grateful to people like Gayatree, Parvesh, and the spa staff Georgette, Edwidge, Natasha, and Mansha were simply amazing when they worked their magic during the spa session! Would definitely recommend anyone a stay here.

We spent one week in that beautiful Hotel located directly at the Beach. Best offer of food I have ever experienced in a Hotel. The Dinner Buffet followed a different theme every Night and the Food and decoration was just amazing. We had a romantic Lobster Menue at the Beach and an entertaining teppanyaki in the japanese Restaurant. Every Night live-music in one of the two Bars. Our stay was just magical and one week far too short.

Poor service and holiday experience in January 2023. We have been a guest in your hotel for more than 15 years . You are welcome to check your records. Unfortunately , I was really disappointed this time and I am not sure I would return again. I would like to give you an opportunity first to respond … I am including some photos . The customer service was really bad , on all levels. The rooms were old and shabby , TV hanging skew , paint coming off wall and aircon not working properly . The mattress was shot and dipping in the middle. See time stamp on photos Restaurant service was terrible. The second night by the time the waiter brought the wine list , we had already finished our dinner and left the table. Only a few minutes later the waiter came running up the stairs to sign for the water . I asked him to call the manager .You can check the slip as I wrote on it very poor service. The food at dinner was also not great and of inferior quality compared to the past . The only food that was good ,was the lunch menu / Tiger prawns at the pool bar. Their service was reasonable, but not great either ,although much better than dinner. We did not have breakfast so would not know what that was. I was really disappointed with the beds and couches on the beach. The were coming off the sponge and torn and dirty. The beds we also dirty and to my surprise, the staff was not removing water from the roof part ,so beds were always dripping . This is even 5 hours after the rain every day. Also, no service on the beach . …

We have had our full day workshop there on the 25th of October2023. Everything was perfect from the organization of the conference room to the lunch and through to the afternoon break. The staff was magnificent with a smile and a worldclass service. I would highly recommend the venue for workshops and end of year parties. The Sofitel in Flic en Flac organized an extremely romantic beach dinner for us as part of my marriage proposal. Although we were not hotel guests, Elodie did all the planning with great dedication. Special thanks are also due to Mike, who even exceeded my decorating requests, and Elijah, who very lovingly took care of the service at the table. The surprise was flawless and I am happy that I chose the Sofitel with this fantastic team for this emotianal event.

I've spend 1 week at Sofitel with my family. Our room was freshly renovated, the place was beautiful, and the beach was fantastic. All the staff has been amazing, patient and caring: the chefs and waiters at the restaurants and bars, the lifeguard at the pool, the Houseboat guys, and last but not least Bridget from the Kids Villa who managed to entertain our kid even though he was the only one in the baby club. I would have loved a more powerful WiFi even if it wasn't so bad disconnect yourself from everyone once in a while.

We had an awesome time in Africa. With the Safari that we did, sightseeing in Cape Town and topping it all off with a stay at the Sofitel Mauritius L’Imperial Resort & Spa. Staying at the SMLR&S ended up being the perfect finish to a fanatic trip. Having that 5 Star, relaxing holiday (within a holiday) at the end, really worked. We were treated extremely well and we found the atmosphere was conducive to retelling all the stories we had and swapping photos etc. The relaxed ambiance was perfect. The staff were great, especially Raful from the Relaxing Pool swim up bar. He was great. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the possible drinks we could have. I worked for years in hospitality and he’s definitely someone that I would employ. Make sure he stays and give him a pay rise!
