Pearle Beach Resort & Spa boasts an impressive beachfront location that guests adore, paired with stunning sunset views and a variety of water activities, earning it high marks for its natural offerings. The cleanliness of the resort generally receives commendations, though opinions on room quality vary; some find them spacious and well-appointed, while others feel a renovation is overdue. The staff's attentiveness often contributes to a pleasant experience, even as some guests feel the value is diminished by outdated amenities and additional costs. Lovely relaxing two week stay at the Pearle Beach Hotel and Spa in Mauritius. Can not thank the staff enough, we were always greeted with a smile and all were very friendly and welcoming. Patrick in the bar and Bhupen in the restaurant in particular are very knowledgeable about the area and would go out of their way to make sure we were having an enjoyable stay. The weekly meet the management night is a lovely touch as you get to know who's who and meet staff from behind the scenes. General Manager Mr Dave Bundhoo is always on hand and very approachable and keen to help with any problems (we didn't have any)
Food was lovely, not a vast choice but more than adequate with several options each meal including freshly cooked choices.
The room was a good size, cleaned daily and well equipped with a large comfortable bed.
Great location, on the beach (swim shoes advised as a little rocky in places and broken coral washes up on the shoreline) spectacular sunsets. Will definitely be back in a couple of years
All in all a brilliant holiday in a truly wonderful place, thanks to each and every staff member for making our stay such a memorable one.

Hotel, staff and location all top quality. Room was excellent having very recently been refurbished. Always a good choice in the self service restaurant. We went all inclusive and the drinks package was suitable to our every day needs. High end drinks could be purchased at bar with substantial discount for AI customers.
There’s a daily entertainment programme which could be pushed more. The evening entertainment was held in the restaurant and we took in a couple of excellent shows.
The hotel is right on a Sandy beach. There is coral on entering the sea and I’d highly recommend beach shoes be taken with you or purchased at reasonable prices from local shops.
I’d hired a car for our stay and most days out took about an hour from hotel. Chamarel, Grand Baie, Grand Bassin, Pamplemousse botanic gardens, Port Louis.
This was my 3rd trip to the island and would return to this hotel no problem.
Although all the staff we encountered were great I’d give a special mention to young Mohammed in the restaurant. He’s the happiest boy and always wore a big smile. Patrick, who worked in the bar, couldn’t be more helpful and his knowledge of the island and further afield was second to none.
The hotel manager was always on hand and approachable. He sorted a slight problem we had with our air con in our room in a jiffy.
Although the hotel was full we were always able to get a sun bed by the pool or on the beach and exchanging beach towels was a simple process.
Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

The hotel is small and cozy and the spacious, tastefully furnished rooms with sea view really do have a magnificent sea view. The staff in general (reception) and especially in the restaurant are very professional, attentive, extremely friendly and fulfill almost every possible wish, I would especially like to mention Sandhya and Julietta.
Breakfast and dinner on the terrace gives guests a unique sea view.
Only the pool and beach area with the loungers needs some improvement, much more attention should be paid to this in order to ensure a well-kept appearance at all times! Since there are many pieces of coral in and on the sea (unfortunately also in the hotel area), I strongly recommend wearing bathing shoes.

I stayed for 1 week in this hotel, not worthy of a 4 star hotel. Beautiful waterfront setting, friendly staff. On the other hand, catering worthy of a canteen or a roadside restaurant in 7 days we ate the same thing but cooked differently chicken sausage on all dishes, no Mauritian specialties. Breakfast when it opens 7:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. no pain au chocolat you had to constantly ask who would refill it. The rooms are quite spacious, however, very surprised. In the bed fitted sheet my no flat sheet that bothered me. Housekeeping had to constantly ask at 2 p.m. if the rooms were not made. The cleanliness leaves something to be desired, very dirty curtain. Drinks are extra but we knew that. I am very disappointed with this 4 star resort. I don't understand the people who rate establishments. I wouldn't come back to this hotel, that's for sure. Despite the nice staff

I want to alert the entire community to the disastrous and dangerous state of Pearl Beach in Mauritius. This place is in a state of advanced decrepitude, totally unworthy of a hotel establishment.

As soon as we arrived, we were confronted with shocking unhygienic conditions: ubiquitous mould, dilapidated furniture, cupboard doors collapsing, unusable taps allowing water to escape continuously and totally defective air conditioning, making nights suffocating and unbearable. Paying for this level of discomfort is a real shame.

But the most alarming thing is the total lack of security. Unfortunately, I witnessed a dramatic incident: an elderly guest fell terrifyingly below on the beach, leaving his body inanimate and bloody before horrified holidaymakers. This is all due to inadequate guardrails, which do not meet any safety standards. In the face of this emergency, the institution has shown its total incompetence, with a complete lack of backup protocol and outdated staff, unable to react professionally.

This hotel represents a real danger to its guests. It is inconceivable that such an establishment should continue to welcome the public under these conditions.

In the face of these serious shortcomings, I urge receptive agencies, tour operators and local authorities to take immediate action before an even more serious tragedy occurs and demand that this establishment be brought up to full standards.

Finally, beyond the risks involved, this experience completely ruined my vacation, which represented years of savings and a broken dream. Mauritius is a beautiful destination, but to let such an establishment tarnish its image is unacceptable.

I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to spend a serene and safe stay.

We had a wonderful stay from 14/01 to 20/01 at Pearle Beach Resort & Spa. I would like to begin by thanking all the staff who all contributed to making our stay enjoyable. First of all, I would like to thank Mr Bim who, from day one, gave us a warm welcome. A big thank you to Julietta, Vidhya and Sandia with whom we were very caring during buffets every day.
It was an honor to meet Chef Rajesh who introduced us to his cuisine as well as his sushi which were really excellent and we thank him for the surprise of my daughter's birthday cake. Congratulations to him and to Arindam Rohan and Hrithik in the kitchen who were always very helpful. Little nod to Carel who was always very smiling. I would also like to thank Ranit, Saif and Hans servers and Nitesh the service manager. We also enjoyed the drinks offered at the bar served by Monsieur Patrick. The reception was always listening to us especially Louqman thousand thanks to him as well as to Anais and Teesha. And thanks to Victoria for her impeccable cleaning of the room. A special thought for Vinod who helped us.
We had a great stay, the dishes offered were varied and tasty. The view of the beach that the restaurant offered us was really nice.

However, there are a few areas for improvement. When we booked, we had requested to have connected rooms to be as close as possible to our children, which was not taken into account when we arrived. At the bedroom level, in the evening, there was a lack of light and the TV channels were rather boring. There was also a concern for odor evacuation in the bathroom and there was dust inside the air conditioning during the first days.
As for the dishes, at breakfast level it was often the same. When pasta dishes were offered there was no real taste. It would be nice to offer more Mauritian snacks such as samoussas, chilli cakes etc to highlight local dishes as well as during grill buffets we would like to see the preparation in front of us customers.
Note also that the beach is quite rocky, it would be more prudent to go there with suitable shoes.

Apart from all this we had unforgettable moments and we hope to return very soon to Pearle Beach Resort & Spa.

I would like to respond to the director following his response which is nothing but lies.
==>Already always a standard response starting with Madam, even though I am a man,
==>We were never told that the mini bar could be stocked, in all the hotels where we stayed the mini bar was stocked and every morning the staff takes a record of the drinks taken which are paid at the end of the stay , at home you have to go to the supermarket as you told us, you never told us that you could garnish it!!!...
==> Concerning the air conditioning, at no time did we leave the sliding windows of the bedrooms open, every day you gave us the same answer, and it is no longer condensation but water damage, the photos speak of it. themselves, as for cleanliness, yes the cleaning is done, but we are talking about the walls of our rooms which were dirty, the torn door frames, the dirty tiles, the discolored bath towels, the access door in the corridor which is dirty, the toilets in the restaurant room,
== > the buffet, don't say that it was varied, every day we ate the same thing and we never saw lychees or oranges,
==> The icing on the cake you say that you saw us on the dance floor, so let us have a good laugh, because we don't dance and especially not to overhead projections of Michael Jackson, at the end of the meals we were going to have a cocktail, so STOP LYING!!!! Maybe you've seen my wife taking photos of the video projector, but definitely not dancing.
==> As for our compatriots who supposedly complained about our comments, another lie because the only people with whom we discussed it were tourists in the same situation as us.
==> And again contrary to your statements, we informed you of our dissatisfaction on January 4, 2024 at 12.06, moreover we have the recording proving it, remember a dissatisfied customer came to tell you of her dissatisfaction and you told her to wait her turn, so don't say that no one came to see you.
Small reminder, When we arrived, an English couple was leaving and they were very unhappy with their stay, still on our arrival when we were waiting for the room in the early morning, a mother came to complain that her son had been bitten by bedbugs.
You respond to another customer in the reviews, that it is normal for there to be dogs in the swimming pool because they are those of the neighbors, but who are we kidding, when we told you that we were shocked to see a group of people dressed in the swimming pool you recognized that it was not normal and that you were going to remedy it, something which was not done, so sorry Sir, but for me you are a liar and you try to turn the situation to your advantage by making yourself appear to be a victim, moreover in all the responses given to unsatisfied customers, you do not question yourself, it is the customer who is lying, above all remember that it is the tourists who make you live. It is a shame that we cannot put more photos proving our words, because it is a real album, I invite Internet users to go to Google where they will be able to see a little more which prove our good faith.

Pearl Beach Hotel is a fantastic place to stay.

The food in the restaurant was varied and prepared to a high standard. The staff are amazing and very attentive. As it was my 50th birthday whilst we were there, my husband and I enjoyed a meal on the beach which included lobster.

House keeping worked hard to freshen up the room each day, and the room was kept extremely clean for the duration of our stay. On the day of my birthday, a member of the house keeping team used flowers and leaves to create a happy birthday message, which was a fabulous surprise.

Patrick at the bar was great, always greeted by a happy smile. Once a week you are invited to join the management team for cocktails and canapes in the garden.

Boat trips can be arranged from the Boat house at the hotel, the glass bottom boat is free and well worth it to look at the reef. We also paid to go whale watching and to Benitiers Island.

Entertainment was provided each evening.

We enjoyed our stay and hope to return sometime soon.

Hotel itself is spotless, the garden staff work really hard to keep the grounds pristine. My room was lovely overlooking the ocean however the rest of the family were over the road in a block with a tin roof as the view from the balcony, very disappointing. My key card did not work one evening and as I have mobility issues I phoned my daughter to get someone to let me in. She was told they were busy with new arrivals and I would have to wait. The same thing happened the following evening. My toilet seat fell off twice and the toilet door handle came off in my hand. The pool area is very nice , pool tiles kept coming off but staff made every effort to replace them. The pool seemed a bit enclosed, the sea view was non existent as they have built a restaurant overlooking the beach which was closed throughout our stay. The food was a bit disappointing, French sticks that you have to cut yourself., Not very hygienic, bread rolls would be better. Lots of curry dishes which were fine but would have liked a carvery or freshly griddled meat. You could order food not on the menu such as pizza but there was an extra charge. The restaurant was very clean and the staff friendly and attentive. There is a stage in the restaurant with nightly entertainment but by the time it started we had finished our meal and gone to the bar. There was some outside seating overlooking the sea which is lovely. Overall, a good value hotel which could be great with a bit more attention to detail.

I had the chance to stay 5 days in this place where I had an excellent stay at the Pearl Beach hotel.
The establishment is both pleasant in terms of its waterfront location but also in terms of infrastructure with a swimming pool, a gym, a conference room in which we were able to carry out our project work as well as very well equipped and very pleasant rooms. There was also entertainment during a karaoke show evening for Valentine's Day evening and nice music to which we were able to dance.

I would like to thank in particular the team of the establishment who allowed us to have an exceptional stay through their kindness and their attention, in particular Mr. Dave, manager of the establishment, Mr. Josian, responsible for the entertainment section, as well as Christabelle, charming hostess. . It's all the bar service staff but also the catering service whose names I don't know but whom I thank enormously for their contribution to our well-being.

I hope to come back soon, I recommend this place and thank you again to all the teams for their involvement
