All 5 stars go to the guys on the boat house and hospitality service. The guys from the boat house made our vacation unforgettable. And hospitality staff work as off and i really hope it gets recognized. Thanks you for your hard work. The downside of this hotel is that the beach is not very good for swimming as there are a lot of rocks. But not bad for snorkelling .Food- the food is not very good, the same thing every day. I personally didn't like the kitchen at all.

Gorgeous location, but IMHO Solana beach is a substandard hotel, definitely should not be rated 4 star! We had paid for a 3 night stay and our room reservation was meant to be kept open for us, our room should have been immediately available as we arrived for the 3rd night due to the late arrival of our cruise ship. Instead we had to wait until the room was ready. When we requested if we could keep the room on the next day we were told it would cost in excess of 5400 rupees which considering we had to wait nearly 2 hours for the room which was technically our room on the day we arrived, it would have been good customer service to extend the same courtesy on the day of our departure. I also enquired if we could use the buffet before being picked up at 7.30pm and was refused 😞 - again a small courtesy from the hotel considering we had missed out on 4 meals for which we had already paid for, which was through no fault of ours, yet the hotel had obviously benefited from letting out our already paid for room to guests waiting to embark the delayed cruise ship! Our room was full of insects and lizards, there were ants everywhere including on the bedding. The bathroom and toilet smelt of smoke and as non smokers this is unacceptable and caused irritation to my breathing. The shower was not clean, there was thick mud on the shower floor and walls. The shower itself was very poor and kept going hot or cold and shutting off. Apparently the room door required attention and when we left for dinner, someone entered our room and left a letter to ask for our co-operation in allowing the maintenance team to fix the door! I was not happy with someone entering the room without our permission. Also the toilet was very difficult to flush as it was too hard to press down. The friendly lizard residing in the toilet took some getting used to but he seemed quite friendly, moreso than some of the staff. The dining area was very hot and uncomfortable. The food wasn't too great either, not much variety and certainly not worth 3200 rupees for 2 for the buffet and that didn't include any water at 240 for a small bottle. Breakfast was very disappointing too! The Coco bar had some nice food and I was able to get some decent food before our pickup there. I opted for coconut water to drink and it was a very dangerous option with the young waiter attempting to cut the end of the coconut and shards flying everywhere! The decking was dangerous around the pool and beach bar areas with nails sticking out and a of loose boards. Not the experience we were expecting at such a beautiful stunning location. 😢

Solana Beach is a fantastic place to unwind and relax. My mother and I are returning guests, we love the tranquility this place provides. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Our housekeeper, Lalita, was kind and thoughtful and took great care of our rooms. She always took time out to say hello and ensure we have all that we needed. The staff in the restaurant were also exceptionally attentive, taking time to chat with us and make suggestions about where might be a good place to visit. We hired a car to enable us to tour the island. Evening entertainment is available, and things wind down by midnight. Not the place if you want to party into the night. The beach is beautiful, but you will need beach shoes as there is broken coral and rocks.

Arriving at the Hotel, we felt that we would love it with a magnificent beach view from the reception. The rooms are a bit Dated, however the service is great and the view is spectacular and filmy. We spent most of our time , by the pool side, by the beach or by the Bar. The level of service is impressive. The All inclusive package is totally worth it. You have so much choices with good international cocktail and prepared as it should be. Been a bartender for several years in Dubai, i can assure you. The hotel has 4 restaurant where you have a choice to o dine. The buffet is decent, but Pomelo serves dishes with international standards. The staff have been very friendly. I would name specifically, MR Yash, one of the head of the food and Beverage department who have excelled in terms of customer service. He always ensured that we are very well looked after. I would like to thanks, Christophe, Nitin, Rakesh, Aman , Ikbal . Thanks.

My story is something really to rave about at Solana Beach....they get 100% all round. We arrived and settled into our beautiful accommodation sea facing ground floor..magical set up for our 25 year wedding anniversary. On the secound night we was at Solana my husband became ill, within minutes an ambulance was arranged at the front desk to take us to Aegle Clinic (outstanding service also) the staff was amazing, and acted quickly, with such empathy, love and compassion. He was hospitalized for kidney stones, which meant I had to be on my own for 2 nights. Each day management checked on me, Gaytree who cleaned our room checked on me and asked for feedback on my husband daily. She handpicked our flowers for our room and made our room so special each day. Melanie and Aarti was also amazing at the Restaurant. Their love and care and service is outstanding. Each meal met with such joy and beautiful laughter while serving us. This resort scores 10/10. We will definitely be returning. The memory's we made here despite our small set back was amazing! Thank you

A beautiful resort with lovely friendly staff, so much care and attention taken into every detail. The food was simply amazing often with all inclusive, you see the same menus repeated, but at Solana there’s something new every day, credit to the food and beverages manager, Sunil and all the chefs. Quality variety and taste was excellent .The staff provided a great service and they make a real effort to provide quality evening entertainment . Thanks to Shane (brilliant cocktail maker!), Andy and Danish anyone else, so I forgotten for looking after us to such high standard. I highly recommend this resort, we look forward to coming back soon.

Our stay at Solana Beach was amazing! Veer and Yogishta gave us a super warm welcome with a tasty cocktail and cake. The room was spotless and had a cool vibe, shoutout to Sunil, the F&B manager, and his awesome team – Shane, Ravi, Rita, Amrish, and Ajmal. The breakfast at the gazebo was a feast, thanks to Sunil. Nemisha at the spa gave the best massage, and big props to Cedric for the glass bottom info. The Jacuzzi was like paradise. Overall, Solana beach nailed it with top-notch service and a chill vibe. Totally recommend it – big thanks to the whole crew for making our getaway awesome! 🌟🍹💆‍♀️
