Visited during June 2022 and booked a swim up room. The room was wonderful and the cleaners visited twice a day which was much appreciated. All staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming, shout out to Vicky our favourite! Plenty of free activities such as snorkelling, glass bottom boat trips, rum tasting, bingo etc. Plenty of food and drink options, the àl a carte lunch was a great touch as food is made fresh. If you can’t live without your branded crisps and chocolate bring snacks for the room as the local supermarket and on-site shop don’t have many mainstream options. Overall brilliant room and hotel with great staff who went the extra mile.

This hotel and the staff are amazing! Apologies for the rather long review, but it is to illustrate how wonderful our stay was and how highly we recommend the Sunrise Attitude Hotel and the incredible staff there. We stayed in this hotel for our honeymoon. On the second day, I unfortunately had an accident and had to spend two days in hospital. The manager, Fabricio, telephoned the hospital to enquire how I was, to ask if there was anything he could do to help and to assure me of his future care. As I had damaged my hip and needed to be in a wheelchair for the rest of my two week stay, he very kindly moved us to a ground floor room and provided a wheelchair and warmly received us on return to the hotel. I was surprised and grateful for his call and caring attention, as I was in considerable pain and wondering how we would manage for the rest of my stay. On returning to the hotel after two nights, the staff helped my husband move the luggage to our new room and made us feel very welcome back, telling us that if there was anything at all that we needed, just to let them know. And they meant it. I cannot praise the staff enough, they were absolutely wonderful. Even before the accident, we found them to be genuinely friendly, incredibly helpful and always cheerful. When the accident happened, everyone was so attentive, they called for a doctor and subsequently an ambulance, which took me to the hospital. I was not made to feel a nuisance in any way. Everyone was so concerned and incredibly caring. For the rest of our stay the hotel staff did everything in their power to make us as happy and comfortable as possible. We had terrible problems with the insurance company, both in the hospital and whilst back at the hotel, but both Fabricio and Rudy (the Tui representative) were understanding and did all they could possibly do to help. We were upset about the appalling behaviour of the travel insurance company, but Fabricio and his staff and Rudy assured us that they would take every action they could, and they were true to their word. It took up a lot of their time and effort, but it was always done with grace and generosity. The hotel is beautiful, the food is scrumptious, the wine is superb, the cleanliness is exemplary but most of all it was the fabulous attitude of all of the staff. The beautiful smiles and genuine care was amazing. This was so refreshing for us, having visited places where usually tipping is expected for any kindness and is not always genuine. As British people we find the tipping system very awkward and we did not have this burden for a pleasant change. Nobody gave us hard luck stories about how little they are paid, in fact, one member of staff told us how good the hotel was to them and how they loved their job. The atmosphere amongst the staff was always uplifting and many in particular, Vicky, Maida, the lovely lady in the salads part, the chefs, Sarita, Verun, and others, whose names I am sorry I have forgotten, all had a great sense of humour, so we laughed a lot. We will never forget the kindness shown to us by all and the beautiful hotel. We will be back. Absolutely five star (more!) in every way.…

The hotel structure is brand new. The rooms are very comfortable and really clean! The housekeeping staff is very precise and friendly. There is the possibility to set the perfect temperature in the room and there is no noise from outside or the neighbours. You will sleep perfectly! The food is amazing! A lot of different choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurants offer different types of food, the mauritian one is excellent! We fell in love with "the social house" restaurant, try the "sunrise Bliss" you will be impressed by the quality! The entertainment team offers you different activities, they are friendly and never too pushy. It was great going to the market by bike and the cooking class was fun! We have to highlight that we met so many great persons, enriching the experience. We spent time talking to different people among the staff and all of them were so friendly. You will feel part of a family! A big thanks to Nik from the entertainment team, I am sure you will have a bright future and an amazing family. Thanks to Avikesh such a friendly and nice person, always up to help! Emanuel with his smile made our days. Saraj shared with us his life story and taught a lot of things about Mauritius. Varun, Sarita, Jeeravaj, Adish, Vicky, Avl thank you for your kindness, it was a pleasure to talk to you! These are just few names we noted down, the list is not complete of course. Good time to spend in this hotel. The stay was really amazing and staffs' are always welcoming. The hotel has very good use of sustainable practice and eco friendly towards nature. The hotel provides a variety of food for breakfast and dinner. However, being Indians it is difficult to adjust to the food. Sometimes we might fall sick due to their flavors. Apart from that, the ambiance in and around the resort was simply amazing with a beach view.

We have just had our honeymoon at the Sunrise Attitude. The hotel is absolutely stunning with amazing food throughout our stay. All of the waiting staff are very polite and attentive. The bar staff are very attentive and the drink choice is huge, the drinks are amazing. Would absolutely stay again. The swim up room was perfect, worth the extra. The entertainment team are non stop and always keeping everyone entertained. The bar staff - Vicky, Adish, Akshay are all great! Great facilities throughout and everything runs like clockwork.
