Our hosts were welcoming and friendly, accommodation was very good and the fresh local food served was excellent.. A short walk to a fabulous beach.. Good roti stalls and a small supermarket. Nice, safe and quiet. Would suggest half board. Would return...
We were there for 2 stay. Really liked the place, room and of course the view from the balcony, there is an Animal park( Horses, donkeys, Giraffe, Cows etc...) All the time my wife was on the stairs with her mobile as soon the animals step outside the ground. And the food was awesome large on quantity. A romantic dinner was organised for us by the staff. Thanks everyone out there, Mr Vishal and all the staff. From Shekhar & Palavee
I spend a few days there on my own. Walking distance to Belle Mare beach. The rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is great but dinner is overpriced. The staff is extremely friendly, especially the asst. Manager, who accomodated my every need.
I was there at Eden villa for 15 long days on my business visit to Mauritius!! The people at villa were so friendly and helpful, it is beyond my expectation!! The quality food at Eden villa helped me to keep healthy and fit throughout my stay. Sincere thanks to each and every member of Eden Villa for all the love and help! Finally, occasional Friday party with local dance was awesome!!! Thank You!!
We stayed for 2 nights. What was lacking in what we would call a snagging list, was made up in the customer service. Our room was very clean and fresh towels every day Breakfast was great, dinner was great. The owners are a lovely couple and really made you feel welcome. We would definitely stay there again, and I would recommend Eden Villas. We would like to wish the couple all the best for the future, they work really hard.
after we arrived to mauritius (whole day of travelling, you know it), we found this place for late lunch, we were desoriented. The place was probably run by a family, as when we came by, everyone started to be interested in us (it was empty, only one woman was sleeping at the small pool). we ordered some friend rice with shrimps, and young lady serving us was very nice and humble, but the way she served was not hygienic much - when she was handing the cuttlery, with her hands holding the part which goes to mouth and so on... Food was basic, but eatable. Prices low for the area (one dish of friend rice approx 200-300 MUR). Average/below average
Small 10-rooms hotel close to the beach in Belle Mare. Service minded owners and staff. Room small but clean, Good breakfast. Restaurant creole and italian style, uneven quality level - from excellent to not so good. Pizzas not so good, lamb chops not wuth bone as usual but more like a steak.
Quiet and cosy place. Breakfast lacks variety. Staff was friendly. AC was not working properly. Belle Mare Beach is near and the neighbourhood is safe. Price is reasonable though but not going back there.
I stayed for 4 nights at Eden Villa and for a budget lodging this had a lot of pluses: Decent Wifi; lots of outlets and lights in the room, good water supply in the shower, working AC, one English channel on the small TV, clean (except for the occasional tropical bug) and absolutely lovely staff. The food served at dinner is also very good and reasonable. My room did not have a bath - so every room clearly doesn't have baths as a previous reviewer claims. You can walk to the beach - though I didn't use the public beach. The downside is that, if you're looking for a classic beach vacation from the brochures - with lounge chairs on the beach, a nice big swimming pool, drinks brought to you on the beach and a choice of places to eat, then you're better off booking at the LUX or somewhere similar. The pool at Eden Villa is tiny, didn't look all that clean and no one was ever in it. There are a few lounge chairs around the "pool area" but, it's a small area and not sure how much sun it gets. There's no view from the room I had - as a matter of fact, the curtains stayed drawn and I could have been in any dingy motel room. There's little to do in the town - which has a a bit of a run-down feel to it. I thought it was worth paying to spend the day at the LUX resort.…
This small resort is good value for your money. It is run by an Italian.woman and her Mauritian husband and.features a small pool and very clean fairly basic rooms. It.is a short walk to a local.beach and.is in the town of Belle Mare which has a few nice stores and Vi kys Restaurant which has decent food. The staff are friendly and helpful. A good breakfast is included. If you do have dinner there, order ahead of time and you won't have to wait. If you are looking for.a very natural unspoiled holiday this.is the place to be. K to a'm local beach
