We spent 19 nights in this delightful hotel, and wished we could have stayed for another 19.

The hotel has the best location on the east side of the island, whenever we went to other parts of the island we were always so happy to come back to Seasense.

Most rooms face the ocean and have a Nespresso coffee machine and a small fridge/minibar. Housekeeping takes great care to ensure that you have the best possible holiday, with flowers on the bed, or fun towels - I had a huge birthday cake on the bed (made from towels).

The beach is protected by trees, and has parasols and loungers spread along the beach, and hammocks hanging between the trees.

Swimming is protected by a coral reef, with colourful tropical fish. Beach activities such as stand up paddle, kayak, and a two person dingy are free.

Two swimming pools line the beach, and kite-surfing available at a beach just up from the hotel. Also once a week there is a free yoga class. There is also a spa and a gym.

Dinner on half board is à la carte. Most nights there is live music, and sometimes local artists have displays of their work for sale. The food is excellent.

But the best part of this hotel is it's staff, who go out of their way to make sure that you have the best and happiest holiday it is possible to have. They could not have done more to make our stay more wonderful and special. Thank you to you all at Seasense, for a magical and unforgettable holiday. I hope with all my heart to come back one day.

I spent a holiday with a close friend, we are two girls. We had, in Seasense, the best experience ever! I can recommend it to those who want to have a holiday that is the best in terms of hotel, food, position, light blue sea and white beach. I felt I was in a real paradise. Seasense boutique hotel is the best on the island for the accommodation and the very high level of services and also for the position because Bella Mare has a wonderful long and white beach which allows water sports and also long walks with beautiful landscapes. It’s a relaxing and cosy esperience..
Breakfast offers everything! It is a lavish buffet of every kind of savoury, sweet, vegetables and fruits all of high quality and they offer also a freshly cooked items e.g. every kind of egg (scrambled, benedict, etc....) in a location in front of the sea. They offer also good espresso and capuccino.
We were really satisfied also for dinner. Seasense offers a good choice of dishes and the quality is very high, so we didn’t miss Italy ! Regarding wine, Seasense reccomend a list of wine every evening but you can have additional list with very international and prestigious wines because they have also a very well stocked cellar!
We also tried massages and the spa that is very relaxing and beautiful, the operators are very skilled.
The rooms are new and very comfortable, in front of the sea, so in some steps you can be on the sunbed. This year we stayed in the Suite that was certainly a 5-star suite, the best we’ve had worldwide. We really felt like princesses. Last year we booked in a superior and the room was very beautiful. This year it was unforgettable!
I wanted to close my holiday eating lobster for lunch and I asked if it was possible to eat on a table on the beach. The lobster was delicious and the table on the beach super nice, the service was really 5-star !
Thank you to the General Director and his very kind team of Seasense (Mr Deepack, Mr. Laurent, Mr. Sumeet, Mr.Dhiraj)

Beautiful hotel with extraordinary helpful staff surrounded with white beach, palm garden and always turquoise warm ocean.
Food was delicious and always fresh, drinks are mixed from waitors that are always asking if everything's fine and ready to be helpful if you need.
Rooms are always clean, housekeeper's asking at least twice a day if you don't need for example fresh towels or shampoo.:)
Special place that need to be seen from you- so let's write on your bucket list :)
We reccomend! Many many thanks for all smiles. Jozef and Michaela

We stayed at Seasense for 10 nights having booked on secret escapes for this once in a lifetime holiday. We were not dissapointed. This hotel is so beautiful and peaceful, and we were so impressed.

Meals were great, we love a hotel with a good breakfast and this delivered! There were options fo cooked breakfast every morning (although my husband was dissapointed they always seemed to have no salmon left even though it was on the menu!) there was pancakes, nuts and fruits, pastires, cereal, meats cheeses, fresh juice and even prosecco! Every evening meal was lovely and would reccomend half board as there isn't anywhere to eat nearby and the food was excellent with daily specials. We also twice did the BBQ night which was great value, such tasty meat and amazing salads! There were also drinks offers on each night.

A hidden thing we found that wasn't very known was at 4PM they put out complimentary hot drinks and cake. we enjoyed sharing our cake with the amazing local birds!

Rooms were spacious cleaned twice daily by very friendly staff. Our room was set back with a ncice view and felt private although I feel like some of the rooms closer to the pool would be less private.

Pool area and beach was lovely with comfiest hammock every and attentive beach staff serving drinks. As well as the staff that worked tierlessly to clean the seaweed on the beach!

My only critisism would be that our romantic dinner which was included was actualy just in the restarnet with petals on the table and was actually the worst nights service with quite a rude waiter adn nothing much more special. We hadn't paid for it so didn't mind but just a note that would have been nice for it to feel like amore special evening.

Live music and managers special night were amazing! One of the best pianists we have ever seen. Also morning yoga class which was free was really lovely!

And final compliment make sure you try the rum made by the bar staff!! We did the rum tasting it was amazing and we bought three bottles to take home. best and most unique rum.

Also one final note, make sure you get out and about and see the island, hotel offers great tours and you can sort yourself. Mauritius is beautiful and has a lot to see, the hotel would start to feel small if you stayed there all day every day.

Thank you for making our stay so lovely and one to remember forever!

We landed at Seasense by coincidence while looking for a place to celebrate our son's birthday following a huge blunder made by one of the booking agent.

From the moment we stopped our car to the moment we left the hotel, everything was perfect <3

The staff is on point! One of the best service received on the island.
We were pampered all the way long, always with a bright smile, checking on each and every one of us. I must admit that we have been to numerous hotels, but the Seasense staff is among the best we have encountered here. All requests were taken into considaration rapidly and positively.
Everyone is always with a smile and good mood. The sense of hospitality is strong, consistent and perfected. From the managers to the maids, KUDDOS to the staff !!!

The food is excellent and the drinks… on point cocktails all day round!
Whenever we were at the beach, poolside or at the restaurant, the service was rapid and perfect! The barmen and barmaids know their job!

The hotel is spotless! The well decorated and cozy rooms are cleaned many times a day which left a sense of freshness all throughout our stay. You can even check the remote corners, all clean.

We had a wonderful stay and tons of memories to cherish. The birthday bash was a huge success thanks to the efforts of the staff. We were all touched when all the F&B staff came out with the cake and sang a cheerful and memorable Happy Birthday to our son. He was treated like a VIP all throughout our stay and that in the head of a fresh 10 yrs old boy, is precious!

We had a newly wed couple with us in our group of 8 adults and 2 kids. They were showered with many attentions and even given a beachfront room with many little surprises. They are so happy of the attention provided and enjoyed their stay.

We also had 4 guests who definitly enjoyed their diner and party, they are all very impressed of the welcome and service they received. So much that didn't want to go back home.

We are so fortunate to have met such a wonderful and pasionate staff and we will definitly go back there for another holiday.

@Seasense, from the 10 of us, a huge heartfelt THANK YOU.
You have set the standards very HIGH.

Not a 5 star hotel at all. Very disappointing. No buffet served at dinner, A la Carte menu very limited to half board customers. Breakfast (cold buffet only), same every morning, no variety. Room service extremely slow. Staff at hotel do not communicate services offered at hotel to guests. We only found out on our 4th day at the hotel that they apparently serve cake every afternoon on the verandah. One small tart was put out. The day after, the cake was just cancelled, no notification. I have honestly never heard of a 5 star hotel that does not sell sweets or chocolates or even ice cream. Hotel very unaccommodating. Prices, especially for wine and drinks ridiculously expensive. This hotel is really overrated.

A lovely boutique hotel, staff all helpful, especially Mr Daron & Asif, who attended to all our needs. The location is stunning and the sea is so warm, we had a few rainy days but it did not spoil the holiday as the sun soon comes out. We enjoyed the kayaking and first attempt at paddleboarding and did some snorkelling.
The food was excellent, especially the starters and puddings which were beautifully presented.Enjoyed the BBQ evening and freshly caught lobster and curries delicious. Our only negative comment was the cost of the wine, which is very expensive about £45 a bottle, however we did enjoy the house red from South Africa just not the price!
Overall a fantastic time, very relaxing and great to just watch the sea and read books.

We have just returned from our second stay at Seasense having first visited in Feb 2019.  We are so pleased we chose Seasense to be our first post Covid trip abroad. The cleanliness, the ambiance, the friendliness of the staff who are so eager to please and the location makes this Boutique Hotel a real gem.

Room: We stayed in a Deluxe Ocean view room which was a good size with all the amenities we required, including a super cold Beko fridge! The bed was one of the most comfortable we've slept in. The ocean view from our room was stunning.

Food: We booked half board. It was lovely to be served at the table for lunch and dinner rather than buffet style so often found these days. Breakfast was buffet, but with a choice of hot options which again was table service.

Staff: A special thank you must go to all the background staff who care for the gardens, the general maintenance team and cleaning of the entire property. Also Aman, Dhiraj, Geraldine, Sanjiv, Arshinee, Stephen, Anteesh, Anusha, Sylvanna, Pravesh and Mikel to name but a few, these staff looked after our every need!

The fact that this hotel is for adults only with the most beautiful turquoise lagoon with good snorkeling only a 5 minute walk away makes for a very tranquil and serene setting.

We will definitely be returning for a third trip.

I stayed with my wife for our honeymoon for 8 nights. First I would like to say the experience was different that we expected. I stayed a lot on my business trips across Europe and the five stars hotels should give you a magical time not a headache.

The big issues is that always something is wrong. For example: we have been keep asking questions so our check in was extended till forever after 24h trip from Uk. We received towels and welcome drink in the middle of the reception in the way to our room… I was thinking it is maybe just a really bad start, however later was even worse. Everything there is chaotic.

Hence, the worst part is the hotel restaurant. Especially the guy who wants to micromanage your free time to make sure you will be eating their “special deal”. I am not joking unfortunately. I have to explained that guy what are my plans for a specific day are after breakfast. I really have not expected that on my bloody holiday.

Also everything is overpriced like hell. A coconut costs around 20-25$ rupees on the street just 10 meters outside the gate. In the hotel is 110$ - there are plenty of coconuts trees and coconuts literally are falling over every day. With a restaurant food is the same story. I paid for lobster sea platter for 2 in the local restaurant 3000$. In the hotel just a lobster for one person costs 7000$. Do not have to mention that the food is far from good compare to what you can find outside the resort. The cook cannot use expensive ingredients and ruined lot of dishes. I can easily cook better..

Moreover the beach almost do not exist when tied is high. Lot of seaweeds and smells pretty bad there. Worst beach across all hotel in that area.

From good experience is that the hotel is small so you will be not overcrowded. Additionally cleaning service was excellent (special thanks to Varguish). Another great guy works at the beach bar and is always happy to help you - Thierry.

I will definitely choose different hotel for next holiday in Mauritius. I should have read bad reviews before made a reservation.

Dear Mr. Lukasz K, Warm greetings from the Seasense Boutique Hotel, We would like to apologize for the experience you encountered during your stay with us. Allowed us to point out that the same check in procedures is applicable for all our guests where the formalities have to be done and information about the hotel facilities have to be communicated, this process doesn’t last for more than 10 minutes. In regards to, the welcome cocktail and cold towel being served in the middle of the lobby, we sincerely apologized for this mishap. Concerning the restaurant, we are a 5 Star hotel, the service and products do reflect our standard, we are selling a coconut at 110 MUR which cost approximately $ 2.50, with regards to the lobster menu the price is 7,000 MUR ($ 163) for two persons, which includes a starter, a main course and the dessert. We do not doubt about the price of 3,000 MUR in a local restaurant but the menu is the same. We have the privilege to have an experienced Executive Chef who is dedicated with his team to meet our guests’ expectation and previous comments do prove that. The natural smell of the seaweeds happened due to the climatic weather conditions and was beyond our control (human control) since it is Mother Nature--the winds were blowing towards an unusual direction, needful have been done to clean the seaweeds on a daily basis and as soon the wind direction changed the beach was back to its natural state. Same applies for the tide we do not have any control on the low and high tide, it does happen that the beach is covered with the sea during high tide, but the highest tide happened only twice per day. We are grateful to you for having highlighted the good job of our team and we do wish we had the opportunity to make it up to you during your stay with us. Kind regards,

We really enjoyed our stay at Seasense. The hotel is nice and cozy with a beautiful infinity pool and great sea views. The rooms were cleaned and the housekeeping staff came every afternoon and evening to ensure our room is clean, to make sure we have clean towels and make our bed for sleep. The bar/restaurant staff were very friendly and sociable ( all of them, + they make amazing cocktails). We went on a half board basis and I can say that everything we ordered for dinner was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented on the plate. The breakfast was on a buffet basis but you could order anything you wanted from the kitchen which was great. Although the weather was not great during our stay due to the winter strong winds, I would definitely come back in the summer season. Highly recommended! Thank you Seasense!

No. You do get a bottle of water inyour room each day. There is a shop opposite hotel . It looked like a clothing shop. Whether they sold other things I don’t know as we didn’t go in. We walked along the beach to the far end and then onto the main road to Belle Marr. It was about 3 kn each way. We did buy water and pringles and chocolate there.
