My husband and I stayed in this beautiful boutique hotel last week for 7 nights on halfboard basis. It was one among my favorite holiday in my life. The welcoming was so warm. The smile of the personnel makes you feel special. The room was nicely designed in contemporary style and was well located. The food was divine, thanks to the chef. The service was excellent. The beach was breath_taking and the water was just crystal clear. To conclude we had a memorable experience at this hotel. We are looking forward to come again. A big thank you to the staffs and managers
We have planned this trip for a very long time and had to postpone due to Covid and was extremely looking forward to it. This was by far one of the best experience we ever had. The hotel is nicely located on the east and had the chance to see the sunrise from our room. It is very cozy, lots of trees and wooden furniture. Let’s talk about the staffs now ! They were amazing! My fiancé and I always heard about the Mauritian hospitality and are very happy to have seen it. They are so caring and gentle. My fiancé got a sunburn and they checked up on her every time. We had some nice trips thanks to the Guest relations team and the boat house. Our bedroom was freshly and beautifully made everyday. Breakfast and dinner time have been something we were always looking forward too. Staffs always smiling despite the long working hours (we know as we would see them a whole day from morning to evening and in the morning on the next day) Only issues we faced was hawkers on the beach who would annoyed you throughout the day and the wind! Just to let you know, the east is very windy. Around 4pm we would barely have sun to sunbath. Overall it was a nice experience and we would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family and we would surely come back for our honeymoon. Take care Seasense team. James and Kathie …
We just left seasence Mauritius and would never go back!!! The service is terrible, food for dinner in the half board packet was failure, we could not even eat all of the meals, it was that bad. There are no other restaurants near by to go and have a dinner. Cleaners rob 170$ from my chanel bag that was left on top of the room table. There are no service at the beach. At the breakfast nobody asked if you would like to get more coffee. Management didint call police until next day. Nobody didint appologise us for what happened. I would not rate this resort as 5* hotel. Do not waste your money on this hotel. I start with the good ones: -resort is beautiful -rooms are nice, clean and big enough - breakfast is good And the bad ones -dinner was terrible -service was terrible -no service at the beach, no one ask if you would like to have a drink or food - no paddleboarding in the arfernoon -no gym -nothing to do as a rainy day…
We have enjoyed our stay to the maximum thanks to the friendly staff and beautiful enviroment. I would like to also highlight the amazing cuisine. The beach was always very clean and the sea is amazing. I am recommending this hotel to everyone.
Wow what can we say, me and my husband visited seasense for our honeymoon and from start to finish the staff were amazing. They made our stay unbelievable. So friendly and kind just a lovely bunch of people! It is a 5 star hotel in all senses - The service, the food, the rooms, the beach…. We couldn’t thank them enough for the best holiday we have been on! Cannot believe some of the other bad reviews from people who would have been there at the same time as us! All staff were amazing to us and any requests we had were delivered above and beyond our expectations. Maybe some people on here need to look at themselves before criticising others...
The reception staff were very welcoming in check in, although not a lot of information was given. Small things like where you get a card to collect towels for the beach would have been useful to know. The room we stayed in had a serious issue with ants, there was a lot of them. We reported this and we were handed a spray to deal with them ourselves not really what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and couldn’t fault anything the presentation was brilliant as well. I just want to say that Jerome was absolutely superb, was always very friendly and very helpful and an absolute credit to the hotel, he was sorely missed the 2 nights he didn’t work the dinner shift, it just wasn’t the same!!
We went to this so called 5* hotel for our 2 week honeymoon and there is no way on this planet its 5*! I would say 3* tops. Sadly, this hotel haven't even mastered 3 let alone 5! I will keep this short and sweet. Location 1/10 Reception staff 2/10 Attitude of senior manager- shocking, patronising and completely in denial of how much help this hotel needs. Flavor of food 3/10 Presentation of food 10/10(amazing) Sunbed-guest ratio 1/10 If it wasn't for Avi Nash and Sylvana my husband and i would have left!! This hotel charge for everything even a bottle of refillable water. Half board, all inclusive all excludes drinks. The towels stunk, the room damp, the staff are beyond over worked and bless Avi Nash Darren Kris Chris Therry Ratan Sylvana Navish Kashish Jerome If it wasn't for these guys, it would have been the worst honeymoon ever!! They kept me and my husband going with their kindness and nurture. We met another couple who were lovely and also joked with us about the hotel not being 5*. We had many problems during our stay from the lack of competence from some of the reception team to the inconsistent house keeping service. We had a bad belly from start to finish and it was only when i spoke to Avi and he arranged specially prepared food that my belly improved. There is nothing todo apart from kayaking and paddleboarding which is free. There is nothing in the local area and no free shuttle service to the centre. I do believe the management need to go back and review how they treat their staff so their staff can deliver more efficiently. They could also do with getting some advice from other successful hoteliers to improve things. Having spoken to the senior manager on our last day, i can see his dismissive attitude and how this is reflected among some of the staff. As much as i enjoyed the amazing staff mentioned about i would never return and would not recommend this hotel unless the price dropped significantly. On a positive note, the views are beautiful. …
We have been back few days, we miss Mauritius already. The beach/sea/nature is absolutely breathtaking. The resort super, with super kind helpful staff, I would definitely recommend for any one who wants to have a relaxing beach holiday. Avi, Baboo, Iona, just to name a few of the staff, have been absolutely amazing. A truly calming, soul healing experience.
5*? This hotel is maximum a 3* category. We booked Ocean Suite Beach Access (119): the room is dark and much smaller than the pictures made you feel. Bottled Water need to be purchased - only 1l per day is included in the room. We requested before check-in two blankets even it was confirmed the room was not set up with two. Every day we find the second blanket crumbled somewhere in the room - lack of flexibility by the staff and very low attention. The bathroom is average, amenities not more than 3 stars and only one vanity. The light in the bathroom is horrible. Breakfast is far from 5 stars. Yes, they prepare fresh eggs, but the fruit selection is very poor. No fresh juices. Bread and pastry would deserve an oven heat up - all soft and squishy. Cheese and Ham are presented without any decoration or order. Overall the buffet looks set up without taste. Positive: Fresh Crêpe and Waffle Station. The ocean and the beach are nice however the ratio of beach beds vs guests is not matching. 59 double rooms and 35 double beach beds. You need to reserve your spot before 7am to secure a shaded pair of beach beds. This is not 5* boutique style, it‘s more all inclusive Club atmosphere. Overall the resort feels very cramped and crowded. We could hear the neighbours stamping around morning and evenings. Privacy is not really given as the neighbouring units are very close. The beach towels situation is stressful. One towel per person per day handed out against a towel card. Several times they run out of towels over the day or started in the morning already with lack of beach towels. When checking in they claim to have 3 restaurants…that’s basically not the case. It‘s one restaurant (which changes its name over the day) and one beach bar which closes at 5pm. There is a gym with some equipments, but it‘s not a very inviting atmosphere to train there. Very helpful and attentive is Jerome the night security. He offered assistance and shared some local tipps. When approaching front desk or service staff you feel more to be a burden and causing extra work. The resort need some renovation since the rough weather conditions do leave their marks. It‘s not worth the money they are asking - max 3* rating. …
One of the best experiences we ever had! Our time at Seasense Hotel was beyond words can explain. You feel like you are in paradise once you get there. The atmosphere is lovely and calm. The food is really great. The staff is amazing and they really know how to take care of their guests. I can say that 50% of our great experience is related to the kindness and caring of the staff. Special thanks to our dear Yona and Kesha, who made sure my boyfriend’s proposal will be a memorable one 🤍 For sure we will be returning to Seasense.
