It is a SPA resort without an operating spa. The place is really run down. All restaurants were no longer in operations EXCEPT one cafe. Poolside bar closed. Lounges closed. Lifts were not serviceable, they just placed a sign and claimed to be "under maintenance" but it's clearly abandoned i.e. Rusty, broken, etc. At least 20% of the lightings along...

Been here a couple of times in the past years. Paid RM310 for a night with 2 complimentary breakfasts. The constructions at the lobby seem to take forever. No complimentary wi fi. The room is old and run down. The air condition in the room is actually hot! The swimming pool is as dirty as you can imagine. The spa...

It used to be a premium getaway location. But sadly it has become a pale shadow of its former self. For whatever reasons, the place looks sad. If you are not there with a bunch of fun loving mates or madly in love with someone, I reckoned, you should stay away from this place for the moment. While its always...

This place is nearly deserted so you almost have it to yourself. Rooms basic and clean but rustic and poorly maintained. Food is poor quality, overcooked and expensive with limited choice. Pool is fine but bit dirty. If you're looking for a nice view and perhaps a short stay, could be ok. Pictures don't reflect true state of the premises....

If I could offer 0 stars I would. PLEASE CHECK WHAT IS OPEN WITHIN THE HOTEL BEFORE YOU BOOK. All bars are closed (the hotel does not advise this before booking!) in fact the bars have been stripped of all goods inside clearly showing the hotel is in dire financial state, only one restaurant open which is massively poor. I...

We stayed here for our honeymoon in 2004 and the place was run down then. The pools used to be much bigger with sand, bridges and a waterfall. I wonder what happened? We also only had 1 restaurant open with one bar that was only open for a few hours each night. There was hardly anyone staying there back then...

My husband and I checked in at Damai Puri on 15th September 2016 and it was our first visit. I decided to stay here because it’s very near to Sarawak Cultural Village and it has private beach. Firstly, I want to highlight that almost everything is not properly maintained in this hotel. The only good thing is their staffs are...

- No spa, so don't be fooled by the name - Big restaurant, only 8 (!) clients and we waited for our drinks almost 20 minutes. - Spouse had eaten his food before I even got mine, and as i got my sandwich, it was cold. - No flipflops or bathrope in the room (spa hotel..) - Rooms are spacious...

The swimmingpool and nearby beach are really nice. Also the staff is very helpfull and friendly..... But the rest of the resort wasn't good. Unfortunaty the room we had was very humid. When we arrived everything was wet and there was a big wet pool on the floor. Also the bed smelled like fungus. The only way to keep it...

I think this hotel is a tax loss for the owner....5 restaurants but only 1 open...lift broken for more than a year and guests have to cart their luggage up stairs as no staff to help...phones and lights not working in most rooms...bar closed...spa in ruins and closed off to public...dive centre losing roof...all the customers were angry and upset...gift...
