What a fantastic hotel, definitely a boutique hotel! Each room is different. Mine was huge, had a bathroom that opened into the rest of the room, and a rain shower. The staff were really good, and very accommodating of a late check out. It's really good value for money.

Stayed for 3 nights at this boutique hotel and felt very welcome throughout the stay. The rooms have a cool design but are starting to look a bit worn out - a bit of fresh paint and thoroughly cleaning the grout would take them back to their former glory.... But for the price who can complain. The bed is comfortable...

This small hotel is one of its kind, and that is why we chose it. You have to pay in advance the total amount, which i found a little strange. When we arrived at 1.30 p.m. our room was not ready, so we waited a little and was offered a welcome drink. We got our room and there was only...

Came with a friend, arriving late on an evening and realizing upon our arrival that we had booked the wrong date (my fault). They sorted it out and still had a room for us, and we got in quickly with no problems. The room was nice. It's not phenomenal - but it does look like the pictures but seems to...

If you are seeking for a real local kind of hospitality in Kuching, this is the hotel you should stay. Kuching is a city surrounded with many 5-stars hotels but this hotel offers a real warm hospitality of people in East Malaysia. The staffs are excellently helpful and friendly. Upon arrival, you will be served with a welcome drink which...

We had a really spacious room in this hotel. There was plenty of room to put your stuff, a really big bathroom with walk in shower and freestanding bath, and desk space for laptops etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel decoration in the foyer and communal areas could do with being refreshed to restore it to the...

Truly boutique as advertised. Attaractive contemporary decor, good facilities, large room, clean and bright. Good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Well positioned for centre of town yet quiet. Free airport pick up and drop off service - but not offered before we arrived and not available when we left. Make sure you request it well ahead.

From the outside it might not look much, but inside you'll find large, comfortable, spacious rooms and friendly staff. The small touches of the local guide to the area, back garden lounge for cocktails and great staff make this a real find...

I have been traveling extensively every year for nearly 30 years, and I can honestly say that the staff of the Batik Boutique is the best I've encountered. They could answer any question, offer advice on any topic related to Kuching and Borneo, and were just plain fun. I had a spacious, comfortable, clean room. Check-in and check-out and my...
