Good little hotel but not a 3 star as stated. Decent rooms and small bathrooms. Everything in the bathroom was leaking in my room, from the sink to the shower and even the ceiling which was disgusting. Rooms were clean and spacious enough for the price charged. Basic but good breakfast served. The WiFi signals in the room was pathetic...

If you want a cheap, safe place to stay with nice front desk staff, this is a good option. However, the rooms are small and in various forms of disrepair. We stayed here twice (beginning and end of trip). The first room's toilet leaked causing odor issues and we had recurrent issues with the door not locking. The second room's...

I stayed here as a single traveller for 2 nights in August. The hotel is basic but the price is reasonable for the standard within the area. Check in / Check out was easy and the staff while I did not require much assistance seemed pleasant. The WIFI worked great which was very important for me as a business owner...

This is a small friendly hotel. The fair sized room had a comfortable double bed, toiletries, cable tv, good hot shower, drinking water was provided and a small desk and chair. It was clean and comfortable and had a lift. There was a small cafe for breakfast which was barely basic toast and tea or coffee. The hotel is very...

More than a basic hotel but still (I got a deal on line) at a reasonable price. The room was a decent size, bright and comfortable with working AC and good hot water. The TV has a few English language channels. It is an easy walk from most of central KK including the bus station. The breakfast choice is limited...

During my recent trip to Kota Kinabalu, I opted for this hotel despite a lot of choices of the same category in the Booking.com website. It is because of the good deal I got ie just a little over USD 100 for 4 nights. The hotel is classified in the 2 to 3 star category. It was built in 2009....

The hotel was OK, but the room was very small. (like in Tokyo) Bathroom is also fine. My room was clean. The food they serve is also OK. It was a perfect choice to stay at this hotel before (and after) the summit assault to Mt. Kinabalu. I can recommend this hotel for those of you who are willing to...

Travel for overnight stay, the room is small and the bed is hard. While breakfast serving is ala carte for everyone. Wifi is slow and not stable and no convenience store nearby. With the kind of money paid, I expect more.

Good location, across road from Centre Point (1st stop on airport bus). Welcoming reception. I was lucky to be upgraded to a dbl. Spacious, quiet, clean and comfortable room, more like European 4* standard. Upper floors have sea view. I looked at several lodges nearby and they were all very unappealing - and cost more than Winner (108 MYR pn)....

The Winner hotel offers you the basics, at a price which I am not sure is convenient for Malaysia. It's a small room (I had Deluxe) with a bed, a tiny TV with no channels pretty much, a small bathroom. I had a leaky tap. You're not going to go here on honeymoon, unless you don't wantt o get to...
