Stayed here because it was a cheap option conveniently located near the airport with a shuttle service. That, and the friendly, flexible staff are about all the place has going for it. Complaints: -Stuffy, cramped, outdated rooms -No elevator--inconvenient if you're lugging heavy bags upstairs -Terrible soundproofing. You can hear every plane departing and arriving at KK airport -Not in...

stayed here for my TMBT marathon. Small room but comfy enough with plenty of food places around the hotel. Easy to go to town via grabcar and arrive by grab as well. Can consider if you prefer budget but slightly more up than backpacker

This hotel had a great airport shuttle service, and the staff was very nice. The breakfast was okay, average. We just had cereal. This was a great value as it was walking distance to local markets. We would stay here again in the future if we were staying longer.

It was unbelievable when we arrived with heavy backpack at the end the Receptionist give us the untidy and unclean room . Imagine we have to go back down just to change into another room plus there is no lift. The room was small and i as a Muslim feels a bit hard to pray because there is no space...

Was meant to be an over-nighter from an evening flight to a morning flight - ended up being 3 hours because of a delayed flight. The reception staff weren't helpful, the room was tiny and hot when we arrived (wouldn't have been hard to turn on a/c in advance - given we ended up arriving at 2am so were no...

Simple hotel located close to the Airport. Small room, bad wi-fi, no elevator/lift, ok bed and shower room. Not so great view outside the hotel. Restaurant next door. Free shuttle service to/from Kota Kinabalu Airport.

We had booked direktly at the Crown hotel and arranged also a transport from the airport. Arrived there we had to wait one hour until the driver arrived, because they have forgotten to pick us up. Instead of our booked room we got a room without any window.. The peak was a giant COCKROACH in our room. When we told...

Stayed over night from 2/7 to 3/7 due to catch an early flight the next day. The hotel is not like what they had advertised in their website. The hotel does not provide any towel, shampoo and toothbrush/toothpaste, all they provided is a tiny soap. Rang front desk and requested for towel but had been ignored, the receptionist claim that...

We were looking for a place to stay one night as a stopover between flights and this place did the job well. Efficient free airport transfer, friendly staff, modest rooms with a/c. Only negative was the wifi wasn't working. We were assured this was a temporary problem, I guess future reviewers can verify this. By far the best thing was...

We booked the hotel due to the proximity to the airport, which is about a 15 min drive. We arrived at 11:30PM to a dark building. Everything around the hotel was light up, but the hotel was dark. Turns out the power was out. The girl behind the counter was brief, rude, and did nothing to reassure that the issue...
