Very excited prior to check in to this hotel as the review was good. However expection and reality differ so much. Check in on the midnight of 15/5/17. 2nd floor air con is not working. Called front desk and they came up and sort with the remote control. Say that after 15mins if not working to inform them and they...

We stayed in a duplex family room which sleeps 4 and has 2 showers and toilets -very helpful for getting us all out the door in the morning! The staff were friendly and helpful and we loved the welcome drink which we will be trying to make ourselves when we get home. For breakfast there was cereal, fruit, toast and...

We spent a week in this lovely hotel where we had enjoyed very much. There were 28 rooms all on first floor. Its location was good,in a quiet street from Jalan Penang so we had very good night sleep. It was about 5 minutes walk to Jalan Penang where the restaurants were and a few more minutes walk to Lebuh Chulia where all...

Stayed at the Museum hotel for a couple of nights as we wanted something colonial,it's a bit like stepping back in time, but in a nice way.The room I had was very basic, wooden floor,no air conditioning but there is a fan and a fridge,no wardrobe but a few coat hangers on a rail, would have been nice to have a set of...

We stayed for 2 night in February. The room we got was not what we have expected. Two single beds with no view. But it has everything we needed. The owner of the hotel has changed so there is no museum attached. Also gym is gone as well. But this hotel still has nice colonial atmosphere and staff there are...

I came to Museum hotel for their Friday dinner, which apparently they are doing every Friday. It's a great way to meet other people, because most people that came are locals and expats living in Penang. The colonial interieur in the restaurant is beautiful and it's a very intimate setting and the food was just another level! A delicious three...

Was scouting for a hotel and chanced upon this. Many gave very good rating and I wondered why is that so for a shop house type of hotel. I would say it was a real EXPERIENCE! The moment when you enter the hotel, it gives you a feel like the name of the hotel. There's so much to explore. Even...

One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The hotel itself is architecturally gorgeous, with lots of history. And the service was top notch. Perhaps the best I've ever experienced. All for a very reasonable price.

This a lovely hotel in a quiet area but still near all the sights. Authentically renovated - beautiful. Easy to walk from here to many places of interest. Service is wonderful - the staff are sweet and will help you with directions, taxis etc. There is no restaurant but a lovely open air dining room/bar. Two small outlets next door...

Great personalised service especially by Jason. Other staffs were very friendly and helpful as well. Love their cafe lounge. Very peaceful. Despite the lack of choices for breakfast menu, it was delicious and eggs were perfect! Rooms are clean and have most basic amenities.
