Stayed here 1 night. Guy on reception was really nice and helpful. Showed us around and explained that breakfast was bread and jam (well left early so can't comment further). Room was clean and didn't have a window so no mozzie. Lots of them in the bathrooms. Also downstairs in the communal area (which is the only place to get...

I stay at Guest Inn Muntri for its strategic location. Near good Chinese food places like Tek Sen (Carnarvon Street), Tai Tong (corner Cintra Street/Campbell), Tho Yuen (Campbell Street), etc. Walking distance to Chinese temples at the Kapitan Keling area (thru Stewart Lane); many eateries at Jalan Pinang area. Chulia Street is also a short walk away, where you can...

Okay price and good location however there are better hostels close by which are worth paying slightly more for. I stayed in the dorm room, the AC worked well however the room was very small and very damp. The wifi was good when in the lobby but did not reach the room. Coffee and cold water available throughout the day....

Stayed here for 3 nights, the dorm was alright. Very thin wall and doors. The ac works better in my first night. But after that, it started leaking. And mosquitos start coming in. Bed was comfy, and u have ur own space/locker. Great location, pretty much centre of love lane, chulia street and the jetty. Easy to move around. Some...

The hostel was clean and located in the center of George Town. All the famous street art and the famous museum is in walking distance. They do offer free water and tea. Breakfast in the morning added an extra value but it wasn't the proper breakfast. However, it's not other hostels offer. Everything was perfect except the wifi in the...

After reading some of the reviews on here we weren't really sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised! The guesthouse is located in central Penang but on a quite back Street with a excellent laundrette nearby. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. The shared bathrooms were cleaned daily with a good hot shower and toilet roll...

I stayed here for two nights with my friends. The good things about this hostel is the location. This hostel is near to Chulia street where the famous street for travelers in Penang. It is also walking distance to Padang Kota Lama and Nasi Kandar Beratur. There are also a few street art near to this hostel. The room is...

We booked here through booking.com for 3 nights but would have left earlier if it didn't mean losing our money. The room was ok but the walls are like paper and you hear everything, the bed was so old you could feel the springs in it. Luckily it was the 3rd night that I spotted the mouse in my room...
