We stayed for 3 nights and were pleasantly surprised with how nice the hostel was. Lovely old building, you will have to pay heritage tax on top of room fee (1 ringgit per person per night). Beds very comfy and there is lock up storage built in to the beds for valuables which was good. Showers and toilets also very...

Just an average stay here. I was put in a 2 bed 'dorm' room, which was very tiny and a bit awkward only having one other person in the room! But the bed was quite comfortable and there is a strong air con. Not much space in the room for bags though. Bathroom is fine, but no hot water. Breakfast...

First the hostel seemed great. Online it was about 15 ringit or something. I didn't book so when I came in they said it was 30 ringit. I told them about the online thing, but I didn't have any internet. He said 'no problem we can do 28'. When I got up to my dorm I met 3 others: all...

The location was great. The staff were pleasant. We booked the double room, en suite with TV. The room was very small but useable. Unfortunately the bathroom floor was permanently wet because the shower leaked constantly when not in use and the drainage was behind the toilet, far from the shower. So going to the loo in the middle of...

I stayed for four nights, including my birthday, and I can't imagine a better place to stay in during my visit in Penang. - The location is right in the heart of the core zone. All the cultural places are within a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. I left way early for all the free tours I joined, so...

The location of the hostel is perfect, just between little India and the Penang museum. Many places to eat around the hostel. The big mall and the bus station Komtar are within a 15 minutes walking distance. The airconditioned and fanned room (double room) was very nice (very light and clean) although the attached bathroom was kind of mouldy. The...

Locating this place was simply awful. TripAdvisor has no offline map for Georgetown, so we were relying on screenshots of the accommodation's location from here and Hostelworld. It is not at all where it was supposed to be, nor was it on any of the surrounding streets in Little India. Despairing, and on the verge of collapse from an illness,...

Red Inn Court is a budget hostel with good location. The check in counter person can help you. You can ask anything. The weakness is slow wifi. The breakfast is bread...
