The room was a good size and so was the bathroom. Both were very clean. It's the best budget hotel we've stayed at during a long trip around Malaysia. Opposite is the Watif Coffee Shop where you can get a good breakfast, both Malay and European (toast, eggs etc.) Only negative point is the rooms at the front of the hotel are a bit noisy because of the passing traffic.

Yes, you read the title right. When i made the booking, i didnt think about having a problem to move out my car from the parking. The road in front of the hotel is always busy from day until the night. It was harder to get out during night when i needed to go out for dinner. And it is way too dangerous to park your car on the other side of the road because i dont think you can cross the busy road easily. All i was thinking when made the booking was that the hotel is near to the Kula Cake. Like I cant go to any other Lila Wadi Restaurant's chains in Kuantan for just a piece of mango cheese cake. The frontdesk reception was quick in getting my booking (maybe because it wasnt weekend yet). The environment inside the hotel looked nice, clean and quiet. If you need to iron your clothes, there is an iron and the board on each level i guess. Because the first thing i saw once i walked to my room on the ground floor was an ironboard. The first thing i noticed once i check in my double bed room was the weird setting of the beds. My thoughts, "how can i chit chat with my roomie on the beds like this (with our feet facing each other?)" and worst, one of the beds was set just next to the door to the bathroom. I dont mind about the little space to move around the room or to place our huge backpacks let alone to do our prayers because the room was pleasantly clean and brand new, but I never encounter a design of a room like this, so yes, it is weird and the setting wasnt pleasant at all. The electric kettle (got stains inside), table lamp and the LCD tv worked nicely, though the only channels you can watch were some old movies on the Astro and you couldnt watch the local news because all of the local channels uncleared and blurred. The bathroom was quite spacy, nice and clean. Except for the hot shower which is facing the bathroom door and the water might go out of the bathroom into the bedroom and wetting the bed nearby. If you stay longer than one day, you gotta bring your own body wash and shampoo because they only provide a tiny bathing soap. Last but not least, walls of the room are very thin you can hear all noises coming from the outside of the room as well as the outside of the hotel ie. the sound of pans being knock heavily from the restaurant nearby even at night.

The place is very convenient. Does not need a restaurant because it is surrounded by them. Room are comfortable enough. Easy checkin and out. Although its still not enough parking spot at the hotel itself, there are plenty of spaces close to it.

This hotel is located in Jalan Besar area close to other hotels like Sentral, Classic and Megaview. They charge 75 ringgit tariff per day, no breakfast option. You can have Malay,Indian food at reasonable price in Restoran Khalsa nearby or in Restoran Bombay,Alif Curry House in the road parallel to this(Jalan Mahkota). Opposite to this hotel is Kuantan riverside. There is a small kids play area there and you can go for river cruise too if you walk along the riverside to Shah Bandar Jetty about a kilometre away. Evening time there is illumination and lighting along riverside and lots of families visit. Elite hotel rooms are small and windowless but clean with air conditioning. They provide clean towels, bottled water, coffee and tea satchets with electric kettle. TV has about 10 local channels. The staff are responsive and answer queries regarding the city, taxi options, public transport etc. If you are looking for Budget,no frills option,Travelling most of the day and want a cosy place to sleep, then this hotel is for you. There is a bus stop in the parallel road(near Masjid Ahmed Shah in Jalan Mahkota) about 400 m away where you can catch buses to Teluk Chempedak,Bukit Gambang Resort City,Sungei Lembing etc or to Hentian Bandar terminus just two stops away for more bus options to outer areas. Terminal Sentral Kuantan(bus terminal where you alight from KL,Singapore) is about 15km away and you can reach there by taxi(20 to 25 ringgit) or by public transport( Rapid Kuantan buses)

We stayed in a double room some days ago. We saw many other hotels in town, and this was definetively the best option for quality-price. There are cheaper options but quite scary too,and soooo dirty. Very very clean room, very modern, with air con, nice tv,perfect bathroom, kettle, and complimentary 3in1 coffes, teas and water. Plus, it is very well located, walking distance from bus station (not close, but walkable),and by the riverside. Also,I have to say, specially one of the staff was soo kind with us. The only con is that the room had no window...but this happens in cheap options in Malaysia, and it did not feel too claustrophobic,so it was ok. All in all, very good option!!

We stayed in this hotel for 3D2N on from the first day of Chinese New Year, and we have booked 3 rooms for 2 of us. There are parking lots in front of the parking, but need to purchase parking coupon as the parking is for public purposes. We were provided with the basic amenities in the room including water heater, free drinking water, kettle and bathroom amenities (excluding shampoo & hairdryer). Condition of the rooms are good, clean with comfy bed, however, the water pressure is too low. Other than the noises from other rooms and traffic, we have no other complaints. The staff were helpful and did remind us to put the parking coupon. Good bargain and we have a lovely stay in this hotel.

I stayed there for 2 nights on business trip. The 1st day my car parked in front of the hotel been summoned. Morning and afternoon. 2 summons with a total of 20 MYR. It is not the matter of wanting to pay the summon or not but at least the management or the receptionist inform us that we need to put parking coupon coz it doesnt belong to the hotel. I argued with the owner himself for 1/2 hour because he said it is not his responsibility to tell guest as the rules are everywhere. Hello? We are from KL. We do not know the rules there unless u tell us. Its a very simple solution : print out the notice at the counter saying u need to put parking coupon. No need to argue so much. Hotel = customer service. Too hard to open mouth to provide customer service? Let the printer say it on your behalf!

I traveled with my family about 4 adults and two kids. We arrived at Kuantan exhausted and found out this hotel. We decided to check out the condition of the hotel and its details. We got the family room with 100RM. The room was like two connected room with two toilets but no door separated between them. So, we were very happy as we could stay together. That night was a good night, I was relieved and calmed. The hotel may look like a three levels house but the interior was neat, nice, clean and clear. Its only a budget hotel so we took the breakfast from outside but we enjoy the hot drink prepared by the hotel. (They prepared tea pot). In the morning, I went to work and cameback afternoon. My children played football in the room, and enjoyed. That was a lovely business and family trip indeed.

Starting from the check in - fast Location - city centre (within walking distance to almost everyhing) Room - spotlessly clean, smells good, king comfy bed, hot water, free dinking water, coffee and tea making facilities For the price I pay which was RM75 or 23 in USD, this is actually a good bargain. Rooms nicely done, clean sheet and in the heart of the town.

For last raya break, I travelled to Sungai Lembing and needed to put up a night at nearest hotel. When I checked for available hotel, almost all was fully booked and managed to find Elite Hotel a day stay. This hotel is located at the heart of Kuantan town, which you'll have easy access to the shopping malls, restaurants and etc. The hotel is built in shop lot house and it has 2 storey but does not come with a lift. It was only renovated early 2013 hence, its still new and clean. The rooms and the washroom were clean and its worth the money. This hotel only comes with a basic need and does not provide breakfast. I shall recommend this hotel for backpackers, and anyone who just need a comfortable place to sleep. If you are looking for a very convenient, superb serviced hotels, then Elite would not be the choice. Thank you
