This year was my 3rd time visiting the lodge. I love the cleanliness, serenity and the staffs there. This is only lodge near to Cameron Highland that is worth to stay. Suitable for groups, couples and solo too. Whatever you need in the lodge, the staffs is most willing to extend their assistance. I will be going back soon.

The place is beautiful albeit being filled with mosquitos so come prepared with insect repellent. The kids loved the farm tours and the family had a great time learning more about the different plants the lodge have. The staff were also very friendly and accommodative. All in all, it was a beautiful experience.

Although it's a 20mins drive from the town (Brinchang & Tanah Rata), this place is a nice stay for small group of friends and families. We like the cleanness of the room and also the variety of flora you find in the farm. You can also plan to cook on your own as they provide kitchen equipment for their guests.... More

We have spent two nights here, together with my husband and two-year old son. You have everything basic you need, I really enjoyed the common lounge area (with living room and kitchen) outside, watching the beautiful gardens around... During our stay we met the owners of the Moonriver Lodge, so friendly, and invited us to stay for dinner which they... More

Stayed 2D1N with 4 adults + 3 children 9th Apr 2016. Nice place to stay if you like nature and forest feel. It is very “home” feel, just like you stay at your own home that you can relax and rest at every corner you like. We like to hang out at the open concept living room just sitting at... More

My family and I were warmly welcomed by the host and gardener; throughout the stay they made us very much at home. It was just lovely to walk in the herb & fruit gardens. The facilities are spartan, but everything is clean and functional, which is great! The showers were a little too hot. Mosquito repellant is needed in the... More

Our family of 4 loved our 4 day stay and hope to return soon. We were there during the Christmas weekend and traffic to Cameron was a nightmare. It was a lovely escape to be in the lodge where it felt so peaceful to be in nature. The library was well stocked and the staff were ever so helpful and... More

The staff at Moonriver were friendly and very helpful in answering my queries. They also served up a delicious and nutritious meal for dinner (just let them know in advance) and breakfast. A good option for those looking for tranquil location none of the hustle and bustle in Cameron Highlands.

Moon River Lodge was perfect for a getaway from the hustle bustle of city life. Considering the lack of data there besides a not so stable Wi-Fi (due to geographical location of the lodge), this place is great for bonding as it is comfortable to just relax and talk with your trip buddies. Staff there were extremely helpful and warm.... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Moonriver Lodge is a family owned farmstay nestled in a valley of the lush mountains of Sigar Highlands. We are located half an hour away from the hustle bustle of Cameron Highlands. This is a space where children can roam freely along the food garden paths, run through the food tunnel and play with Webby the duck or Zorro the cat. This is a space where nature lovers can watch hummingbirds and butterflies drinking nectar from the flowers and listen out for the distant call of the monkeys. Here at Moonriver Lodge, we provide not just a relaxing stay but also the opportunity to learn about nature and growing food and to participate in day-to-day farming activities. Go on a trek to see the second largest flower in the world - the magnificent Rafflesia Kerrii. Hop onto the back of our tractors and join a farm tour or participate in one of our fun gardening programmes to teach your children to how food is grown. Harvest fresh vegetables, fruits and herbs from our garden to prepare a healthy, organic meal. Whatever you do here at Moonriver Lodge, you are bound to leave our gates rejuvenated but with a heavy heart to part with a place you wish was your second home. Because that's what we try to provide - a comfortable, beautiful home. ... more   less
