Our 4th visit to Sea Gypsy and once again it didn't dissapoint. No TV, no phone signal, no wifi, no problem. That's just what we wanted for a week or so. The food is great, as are the staff. The resort is right on the edge of a perfectly clean beach (last time we were here there was still debris...

This is such a lovely relaxing beach resort. The accommodation is basic but very comfortable, the food and activities were fantastic. All the staff were really lovely and made you feel at home straight away, they run lots of great trips like diving, snorkelling and hikes around the islands. Or you can just chill out on the beach or the...

We booked the place for a group of 11. It was meant to be friends and new friends celebrating 2 of our friends birthdays. The moment the boat arrived at the beach we were amazed. The sand was soft , glowing planktons wash around our feet. They greeted us with drinks which is always good after a long ride in...

This is a fantastic place to come and relax by the sea! Book a package deal if you can - it is truly value for the money! The bungalows are comfy and have mosquito nets so you don't have to worry about bugs. There are sand flies on the beach so bring bug spray or oil - citronella works great...

Unpretentious and relaxed resort in Pulau Sibu with good value for money. Staff -both expat and locals - were very friendly, professional and enthusiastic. Chalets are simple but clean and meters away from the beach. Quite a lot of thought was put into the food menu which is varied and tasty. Activities are all very affordable - but make sure...

On holiday in Singapore we went to Sibu Island to get away from the big smoke. Arriving at the end of the Monsoon weather wasn't perfect and we had a wet and bumpy ride across to the island. Arriving on the western side of the island due ro the rough sea we were met by friendly staff that wheeled our...

I had an excellent experience at Sea Gypsy with a couple of my friends. We were picked up by a driver from Singapore that was safe and courteous. Then, after about a 15 minute boat ride on one of the Sea Gypsy dive boats we arrived at Sibu Island and Sea Gypsy. During our 4-night stay we enjoyed the friendly...

This resort is basic (no internet or airco) but great to visit for a couple of days. We went 5 days with 2 kids 5 and 8 years old. The kids club is great and there are a lot of kids. The cabins are really close to the sea and beach is clean and very nice. Snorkeling and diving is...

Great staff, many things to do including just relaxing. Great for kids. Out of the way but the staff will arrange your transportation. We hiked the entire island and this is the only resort you want to be involved with on Sibu.

Very nice rustic, clean, basic cabins. Everything you need. Superb beach and lots of equipment for kids to play on or with. The children's club is excellent for getting the children out of your hair so you can gave a relaxing drink and adult conversation in and around dinner. Bar and waiting staff were all excellent and the cocktail list...
