This is a gem for the hotel industry perched at the top of a mountain. Romantic with the best food and comfortable living. It's a planet within malawi with the best view of the city. Absence of gym and swimming pool is justified as it has more to show to visit sorroundings. A water reservoir is nearby and a tourist...

I ate here a while ago. The hotel looked lovely (although I didn't stay), the surroundings were also beautiful and I enjoyed a reasonably priced lunch. The wildlife was also special, especially the tropical birds, but beware the thieving monkeys at lunch :)

We were there for three nights. The rooms are quite large, the bed was comfortable, and our room had a fire place which was really nice. Some of the other rooms have air conditioning but they were all taken up with conference guests at the time of our stay. The hotel is located at the top of the mountain and...

We just ate at the restaurant, and did not stay overnight. Good food, good service. We liked the baboons climbing all over the hotel room building and on our sun umbrella! Absolutely superb views and a convenient place to stop before heading for a walk onto the plateau. The drive up the mountain with windy road was definitely worth it!...

One of the finest hotels in Malawi. This hotel offers a great deal on outdoor activities and best site seeing in the city of Zomba. It is located at the top of Zomba Plateau and its about 30min drive from Zomba downtown. There are no public transports going to this hotel instead one has to drive or gey a taxi...

must be among the most comfortable spots in malawi. great setting up a wooded mountain, looking east out over the zomba plateau. big rooms with fireplaces, nice garden visited by guinea fowl and baboons, reasonable food and friendly guides for walks. expensive for malawi.

I cannot make up my mind whether I like the Ku Chawe Inn or not, but I am inclined to say not. It has a beautiful location on the Zomba Plateau overlooking Zomba town. The hotel holds a good upmarket standard for being in Malawi. Beautiful garden, reasonably well kept. Nice and clean but slightly worn-down bedrooms. Quite good ensuite...

Set high above Zomba town in a wooded plateau a cooler location quite a change from the heat lower down. Beautiful gardens, comfortable rooms, good food, hire a local guide who will show you some of the best views in Africa, either walking, horse riding or 4x4

Me and wife had a wonderful experience at Ku Chawe Inn right at the mid top of Zomba Mountain. First of all its the cool weather which forced us to put on some jackets. The scenary sorrounding the hotel is so beautiful, all green and rock views. From the window you can see the highest point of the mountain. Sounds...
