I just spent 2 nights at the Zomatel and had a single room (#203) which is rather small but sufficient for one person. The price was 40.000 Ar per night which is about 12 Euros. The room has a single bed, a small desk, a nice bathroom with a good shower, plenty of hot water, and a ceiling fan. There...

This is a friendly, modern hotel with an excellent, lively snack bar which serves delicious, simple food. The dining room may be good but we found the atmosphere in the snack bar more convivial. The rooms are very nice; the shower spectacular; the beds were extremely hard. Everything was sparkling new and clean.

Our group of 10 stayed here just one night while on a two-week tour of Madagascar. A large hotel located on a busy street, it has and older section and a newer, more modern one. Luck of the draw, our group was given rooms in the older section. The quirky room that my spouse and I occupied, #209, had a...

One of the first structure you can assimilate to european hotels. The place is quite big, with an old part and a newer one. Inside is located the restaurant area. The room are big and clean, the bathroom is big enough with hot water. Wifi is available accross all the structure. The staff at the reception was really professional and...

All in all a decent and agreeable place. The hotel is situated between downtown and uptown in the area where there is the market on Fridays. Fianarantsoa seems to be a pretty safe place and we enjoyed time strolling around. The reception area is nice and we were offered a lemon grass tea with a broad smile. the restaurant is...

I stayed here for only one night- literally arrived in the evening, had dinner, slept, had breakfast super early and then left. However, I would say it was probably the nicest places I stayed in during my trip. PROs- The room was very comfortable. The shower was massive, big enough for at least 5 people to comfortably shower simultaneously! Actually...

We stayed there only for one night and we had booked the superior rooms. They were very nice and comfortable with nice bathroom. However some friends who got the standard rooms had many complaints, so request and pay for superior rooms to feel well. The breakfast and the buffet dinner was OK, they had nice deserts. The hotel has nice...

Stopped here on our way to Manakara on the train for a night, service was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and the pricing wasn't overly expensive. Agreed to let us leave the car whilst travelling on the train, found no issues with parking contrary to other reviews. Upon return a few days later the car wouldn't start, staff were...

I stayed 2 times in this hotel: a night stop on my way to the south and on my way back. I confirm: parking is a nightmare, only coach bus and car with tourists are welcomed. For the rest, you are advised to park in front of the zomagrill on the side of the road. We had big room, with...
