Ol Donyo should be added to your itinerary when visiting Kenya. The accommodation with your own plunge pool is a real treat. A true 5star experience. The food, staff and game viewing is exceptional plus options of horse riding, visiting the Lava Tubes, bike riding, walking safaris etc all add to the enjoyment.

What a marvelous stay we had at the ol Donyo Lodge. Our unit (it's more than just a room) was amazing! The main room had a king size bed, desk, 2 cupboards for personal items, a chest with coffee, tea, and cookies, and 2 comfortable chairs facing the water hole. (Drinking water is also provided.) The room is open, and...

This was the final destination for my husband and I during our 2-week honeymoon to South Africa & Kenya. What a treat it was! If we could give this place more stars, we would. We chose this often-overlooked area instead of heading to the Maasai Mara, which is more popular, due to the availability of horseback riding as well as...
