Wow - this was our favourite on our 12 day safari through Kenya and Tanzania. First of all - the view... that view I could of stared at for weeks and not have gotten bored. To be able to see Mt Kilimanjaro so clearly from your bed (and toilet) was just so special. The service was an extremely high level...

Satao Elerai really is a hidden gem. The game in the conservancy seems to get better and better with each visit. The water hole in front of the lodge is excellent for viewing Elephants , Buffalo and Eland throughout the day. The game also seems to be increasing as each visit sees more and more wildlife passing by the lodge....

We stayed in Satao Elerai for 2 nights. We had the package which included full board and game drives. Everything was just great: service, food, the game drives, the tents, the pool etc. To wake up seeing elephants and Kilimanjaro from your bed is just incredible. The food was so DELICIOUS that we were always really looking forward to lunch...

I am writing this review after my 3rd stay at Satao. In the all time I have spent at the lodge I got never disappointed. Staff is so friendly. We visited Satao Elerai with our young children (6 years and one year) and were so well looked after - our one year old had a high chair at dinner, and was given the front seat on safari by Benson our excellent driver (in his car seat) with some takeaway pancakes to keep him busy. I never expected it would...

Small camp with beautiful tents all facing Kilimanjaro. You wake up looking at it and you to bed looking at it. Dining room, bar and sitting area very nice. There is a lit water hole right below dining room so we saw elephants in the morning and evening. Even saw a cheetah. Because it is not fenced Masai men escort...

This is a Masai-run camp near Amboseli National Park. It's located on its own conservancy. The main building is beautiful, constructed out of native woods and imaginatively put together. The tents are nice, too. There is even a water hole below the dining area where you can watch elephant, zebra, waterbuck, and other animals come and go. Our only complaints...

Satao Elerai exceeded my expectations in every way from the views to the safari to the accommodation and especially the staff. It's a special place that I hope to return to as soon as possible. I don't think I've stayed at a place where the staff are so warm and welcoming. Special thanks go to Julius, Jonathan, Benson and Isaiah...

We were so happy to return to Satao Elerai, see the wildlife and relax in such a comfortable, eco-friendly, lodge with such welcoming staff. The tents were spacious, clean and well-equipped - including USB charge points which we thought was a clever touch. Waking up in the morning to some great views of Mt Kilimanjaro was also really special. The...
