The Kilima Camp had some really positive & negative points. Getting the bad out of the way first - the beds weren't comfortable; there was an electronic beeping (hot water system??) that made it difficult to sleep until power was switched off. Wi-fi was often not working & slow when it was. The positives - the lodgings were gorgeous. The...

Fabulous place to stay with Mount Kilimanjaro as a background. Comfortable tents were wildlife wanders and a great stepping off pint to the park. Mount Kilimanjaro is usually covered by cloud as the day progresses but climb the steps to the top of the viewing platform at dawn and watch the sun slowly light the snow on the mountain. It...

From there the drive along the smooth Emali – Oloitokitok road to Kimana was a further 110 kms including a 20kms drive on the Maram ( non Tarmac) road. The location of Kilima Safari Camp is superb for viewing wildlife - in the neighbouring Amboseli National Park, from the hotel viewing tower and from the fence around the property. It is well worth hiring a four-wheel vehicle and driver from the Camp to take you into the Park as they know the best places and times to see the...

We really enjoyed this place, although we may have though less of it had it been high season. I think there was only 10 people there when we stayed, compared to a full house of about 200 which would have been a nightmare. the place itself is very well kept with friendly staff. The 'tent' is huge, high quality furnished...

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Cosy bar and large restaurant. Really big pool with massage tent. Their maasai guide took me around the lodge for some explainations- really nice. Regarding some...

My visit to Kilima was extra memorable as it is where i did propose to my wife on the day my parents were celebrating their 25th anniversary. All my family members were present. The staff were very helpful in both instances. The facility is extra huge but we liked it. The restaurant and lounge had great futniture. Their service and...

I returned to this beautiful luxury tented safari camp in September for a two-day stay while on a tour. To my amazement, the second day, my waiter came to me and asked if I had stayed there before. It seemed the staff remembered me from a two-day visit three years before! That was absolutely amazing to me and showed that...

Karibu! Our first trip to Africa and we made a great choice. We chose Globus Tented Camp Safari. Every place we stayed was "top drawer" and our tour and guide were perfect. We arrived mid-day at Kilima Camp and were greeted with fresh wet cloths to cool us from our journey from Nairobi. It was just us with our guide...
