Detailed Reviews
I had the misfortune to have a motorcycle problem whilst staying at this hotel. The food is excellent, the staff go the extra mile to please you and the rooms are fabulous. They speak quite good English and the Resrvation Manager speaks it fluently. They really put themselves out with no thought of reward.

Room Tip: Downstairs is good. Very quiet at night and no street noise.

My husband and I stayed here after arriving in Kazakhstan. We stayed for two nights in the winter before embarking on a cycle tour. We stayed in a standard room which was clean, comfortable, good size and had a good bathroom. The staff were really helpful and friendly and some could speak English. The included breakfast was great, and the restaurant would bring dinner over to the hotel lounge which was fab. There are lots of shops nearby and a big supermarket which was great for us preparing for a cycle tour. There are also lots of cheap eats nearby, and the 20 minute taxi into Almaty centre cost us about £3 (1200 tenge). It's close to the airport, but not so close to the city so might not be a great location for exploring almaty... although it is considerably cheaper than the nicer hotels in the centre so the cost of taxis there and back could still make it a big saving. Overall, highly recommended.

I did't expect that there is so awesome eco wood style hotel in Almaty. Friendly english speaking personal. Spent there 7 days with no problems at all. Nice local food. Good service. Highly recommended!

I spent four single nights on four occasions and always liked the place. It is far from the center, but our tour organizer selected it for its relative closeness to the airport. The rooms are pleasant, with somewhat varying shower qualities. The reason for deducting a star. Also, there is no elevator, so try to get a room on the ground floor if you have trouble carrying your baggage upstairs. Beds are comfortable, and it is quiet. The breakfast buffet provides a good selection, and the nearby restaurant belonging to the same group (we were told) is quite good. Eat inside if you don't want the music. I definitely recommend this hotel!

I just needed a place to stay overnight on a layover, and this fit the bill.
I had a friendly, English speaking receptionist help me when I checked in. I needed to make an emergency phone call and when my own phone did not work, she dialled the number for me.
She also booked a taxi for me for the next morning, and she printed my boarding pass for me.
Give her a pay rise!
The room I had was big with a decent bed and bathroom. No channels in English, but the Russian music video channel had songs in English that were good background music while I did some work.
Breakfast was served from 7:00am and was very tasty. Try the varenye preserve -- yum! Wifi was free and solid.
I would definitely stay here again, although I'd have a printed map ready because it's a bit hard to find.

This hotel is a distance of almost 20 minutes from Almaty city center as it is located on the outskirt of Almaty.
So, would be some inconvenient getting to Almaty. By bus, it could take almost 1 hour plus to reach Almaty center if the traffic is heavy.
However, despite this, the location is still good. This is because there is a ram store supermarket 5 mins away and food options are available just on the streets outside the hotel. There is a store just across the road from the hotel that sells very delicious Kebab. I went there for dinner everyday for the 3 days i stayed at the hotel as the kebab is simply irresistible.
The room is spacious but is more resort style rather than the more conventional international hotels style. But it is value for money as most of the hotels in central Almaty are on the high side. An" unofficial taxi" to center Almaty sholud cost USD 5-8 depending of time of day. Bus is much cheaper, but take very long time.

We came here as a stopover between a minibus drive from Bishkek and flying form Almaty to China. The lovely receptionists Tozgnan and Bota were very helpful. Check ou on a very late time was no problem at all. The room was nice and clean, the next door restaurant excellent!

Had three nights here in a junior suite. The room was huge with a very comfortable bed and good sofa. The wifi worked well but you did have to log on at different parts of the hotel the pool was cool but good, enjoyed by many locals too! The breakfast was adequate choice and quantity. Nina and Aida on reception were fabulous, they had great knowledge and assisted with buses (bus 106 runs from the nearest intersection straight to the airport for 80 tenge!!). I would absolutely stay here again. There are several local buses just outside the hotel which are great for the 40 minute trip into the city. The restaurant attached to the pool bills direct yo your room at the hotel - good choices of food here too.

I had a stop over in Almaty for 1 evening due to my internal flight connection before heading back to the UK.
The hotel was ok, nothing special. it took my taxi drive 1 hour to get from the airport to the hotel as non of them knew where it was.
Its of a traditional Kazakhstan origin, which was fine.
Breakfast was edible.
The staff were helpful enough and spoke English. The receptionist booked me a taxi to the the airport in the morning.
It was ok for 1 night but I dont know how comfortable I would have been staying more than that. The location is some considerable distance from the city centre.
The room required some work done on it in my opinion.
