The location is good (close to the train station). And the price was cheap (40-50 Euro). Unfortunately, the hotel is pretty outdated. The walls and the-tv station are dirty (see pictures). Overall ok for the price, but I would not stay there again.
Just 10mins walk from Sendai station, this Holiday inn is a very good option when staying at Sendai. Room was comfy and staff very helpful. I would definitely be back on my next trip to Sendai. Good f&b services.

I didn't try to open the windows. Sorry I can not help you but call the hotel directly to find out. The hotel had English speaking person at the front desk.
