We found ourselves impressed by this hotel. While the first look may be a bit disappointing the comfort that it provided (especially the bed) made a long lasting impact on me. It is clean and well maintained. You can definitely tell more about its cleanliness with the attention to details on their towels! You wont be disappointed because I know...

Location: The Hotel Fujita Nara is a comfortable 10 minute walk east of the main station in Nara. Basically as you come out of Nara station, walk diagonally to the North eastern corner of the square to the cross road junction (the “Lucky” slot machine place is a good land mark). Look for the street with the Nanto bank on...

I arrived around 12:30 and was immediately checked in to my room (first time in Japan that I haven't had to come back after check in time)! I had booked a single room, but was very pleasantly surprised that I had been upgraded to a very spacious double room. The hotels decor is quite dated, but it gives it a...

We spent 2 nights at the Hotel Fujita Nara, while sightseeing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location - a few minutes walk from each of the train stations and then an easy stroll to the main tourist sites. The hotel rooms look a bit dated, but the bed was comfortable, there was...

Very good standard hotel. Bed was comfortable, bathroom ok, and staff friendly and had air con. Price also reasonable for Japan. Perfect for in our case, a one night stay. Has all you need. Location is just right in the center of Nara, only 7 min away from the train station.

The hotel is quite central in nara. Turning left from the hotel leads you directly to the station and right leads you directly to nara park. Extremely easy to navigate. You will pass the famous nara mochi shop on your way to nara park. If you like mochi, get one for your walk, you will love it. The shopping street...

It was a good surprise to find a large room (for Japanese standard). Hotel location is perfect between the main temples and the railway station. The service too was good. Price/Quality ratio is really valuable.

The hotel is very well positioned for exploring all the main parts of Nara city being only 10 minutes from the station and a straight path to Nara Park. Close to the many restaurants, cafes and shops the city has to offer. Rooms are pretty standard for this class of hotel. Nothing exceptional, but they are clean. Non-smoking rooms does...
