Guesthouse Iki is lovely. Simple space but a decent sized room. Clean. Comfy. Bathroom has shampoo bodywash and hairdryer. In excellent, hidden location. Close to kintetsu Nara and JR Nara a little further along. Jun is super helpful and nice. Will definitely come back next time in Nara.

This guest house is located in a small alley but is very close to Nara Park. The host Jun is very helpful and offered places to eat around the neighborhood. The shower is good but the sink is too small. It takes some time to get used to. The place is well maintained, quiet and clean. I will go back...

We arrived earlier than scheduled check-in, so left our luggage with the staff when we arrived (which was not that far of a walk from the Nara train station). They even sent us an email prior to the trip with a map of how to get there. When we arrived later, he had already put our stuff in our room...

Great location, excellent host who was very helpful and knowledgeable, traditional Japanese rooms, bikes for rent, very very clean and good price for value. Has a kitchen if you want to prepare your own food. Nara is a charming city that shouldn't be missed.

We stayed for only 2 nights. 2 persons to a room with one room on double-decker and the other Japanese style tatami mats. We were impressed that the place was kept really clean, everything you need in its place and in working order. Very convenient location too as it is just a short walk from the Kintetsu Nara train station....

We stayed at Guesthouse Iki for 3 nights on a recent trip to Japan and loved it. The room was clean, comfortable and warm; the free in-room wifi was great; the staff really helpful and friendly; and the price fantastic! There's a small kitchenette for guest use and the guesthouse is a short walk from the main street, both trains...
