Good but not cheap and avoid if you are a tourist (check out at 10, imperative) Good Nice entrance and room overall. They offer you deers cookies and a drink. Tje spa seem nice and you have kimonos in the rooms. Ask for the massage, ome of the best we had. The place is perfect to walk to Nara park....

We LOVED this Ryokan. Best sleep I had during our trip. The staff was absolutely lovely and very helpful. The location is perfect - get to the big Buddha early in the morning before the buses of tourists roll in. The view was fantastic. I also loved that the room had its own shower because I was initially a little...

The location is superb (easy access to the park and temples) and I want to re-iterate that the staff is so...

Wakasa is a small accommodation on a local street in Nara. Breakfast and dinner were delicious with wonderful food. Bathrooms had Shisedo products and spacious shower/bath area. Decor could be updated but overall a nice stay with helpful staff.

Lovely stay, very helpful and accommodating staff. Extremely welcomed on arrival, greeted us friendlily. Rooms are neat and clean, onsen is small but quiet with very few people. Shower room is very spacious with personal space. Breakfast is delicious, very traditional. All in all, wonderful. Made us feel home. Highly recommended.
