We stayed one night. It’s a genuine two minutes walk to the station but the hotel is dated and somewhat overpriced. Highlight was the family onsen for 1,000 yen. The hotel also offered free use of umbrellas.

Just cross the red bridge to the hotel. Room is nicely sized. Hot bath is nice after a busy day. we were told the shops outside close at 9 pm but find them closed around 6+pm so make sure you confirm things if not Japanese...More

Personally I think you should not spend all 3 nights in Hakone and instead spend 1 night in Kawaguchiko area at least. No doubt Hakone is nice but I personally feel Kawaguchiko is a must visit. Nothing beats the feeling of... More

The hotel is near the train station, far away from the Mt. Fuji. Therefore, you cannot see the Mt. Fuji from the hotel. If you follow the tourist map to do a day tour of the area, you may consider to go to the Lake Ashinoko... More
