We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel in Hakone and we can highly recommend it. This is not your typical western style hotel but true traditional Japanese hospitality. The family room was very spacious, and the onsen the hotel offered allowed us to relax...More

If you are looking for the peace and excellent experience a traditional Japanese Ryokan offers, but with a modern twist this is the place to stay. Our stay in Laforet was an experience on its own, and after having visited lake Ashi and seen the...More

I would definitively recommend this Ryokan. The rooms, location and food are excellent. Here you´ll be able to enjoy the traditional Ryokan experience, but also the comfort of a modern hotel. Location is very convenient to get to all the local sights. Be sure to...More

We went to Hakone as most do, to catch a glimpse of Mt. Fuji. To our great disappointment, the shy mountain didn't even grace us with the sight of her peak, however that disappointment was greatly offset by our stay at Laforet Club. It is...More

Quiet and very clean place to stay with Onsen facilities at the basement of the hotel. Staff went out of the way to create a cake platter for my wife’s birthday and were extremely courteous and service oriented throughout our stay. Detailed planning and thoughts...More

We arrived with a car to the hotel but I am almost sure that the hotel collects its guests from the train station, my recommend to you to contact the hotel and check if they can pick you up from the train station.

Hi, you should go to Gora station. Then, get the hotel to pick you up. They have a free shuttle. If you can't get get the shuttle there are always taxis there. It's too far to walk with luggage.
