We stayed 2 nights only . We traveled a lot in Japan and we are usually always well received and happy with our accommodation. But this time is was a very bad experience. First, the room was cold, very thin blanket, no spare one...It is the high season : yen 13 000 for one night but for this price you...

If you are looking at staying at this hotel because of the price, it is worth it. The hotel is a great place to base yourself, to further explore Hakone. Although the hosts do not speak great English, they are very accommodating. The breakfast was not great, but it was not the reason we booked. The hotel was also a...

Stayed here for 1 night. The room was large and clean. Had to use the kitchen in the block for any teas, coffees etc. The are 4 blocks and each block has its own kitchen and toilets and shower, although the wife had to go to another block for a shower as our block only had male showers. The toilets...

Good: The personal was extremely helpful and friendly. I liked the shuttle-bus-service to the busstation and to the big onsen hotel. Outside the layout and the look of the hotel is very nice and has a pretty garden. The breakfast is good, with many different tasty little pastries and buns (tip: take a plate and your coffee and sit in...

Was surprised by the spaciousness and the cleaniness of the room and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of staying here. Free breakfast is provided as well as plenty of common use items like microwaves, water dispensersa and ice machines are available. Recommended for backpackers and students wishing to see hakone on a budget. However be mindful while the location is...

The hotel is not just a 10 minute walk from the bus stop, it's a STEEP and windy walk. I arrived at night and it was raining, so I had to go to another hotel and ask for a taxi. The room is small and outdated, but if you just need a place to sleep it's fine. They have a...

If you look for value for money, that it is almost half price in same stand accommodations in hakone. What you concern about sharing bathroom and toilet, room, facilities updated, no lunch and dinner service(only vendor's machines), average service, a little bit hard to access this hotel. But it has hot spring. It is a large hotel.if owener willing to...

This hotel is certainly cheap but that is reflected in its quality. The rooms are small and, more importantly, the walls are very thin. This means that every footstep, voice or door can be heard loudly at night and alarm clocks in other rooms can be heard in the morning. The beds and pillows are also very hard meaning that...

The building was modern and clean, the beds OK, the bathrooms minimal, and breakfast OK if you like a large variety of pastries and nothing more. Showers were available down the hall or on another floor, but be sure to bring your own towel and soap - they're not provided. There is an onsen onsite, but we weren't inclined. Staff...
