We love the private onsen in the room overlooking ocean. Room is clean. Buffet dinner and breakfast were a plus point as well. There's free parking provided in the hotel However the hotel looks bit dated and has not been renovated in years. Room is very far away from the lobby, no help provided to push luggage to lobby on...

Quick decision to visit Hokkaido for two days and booked this hotel for two nights based on internet reviews and comments. The overall experience has been pleasant. It’s out of the Hakodate town centre, taxi, buses and tram can all get there conveniently 20 to 30 minutes. The first impression of this hotel was not great as it is an...

Hotel is a short taxi drive from the airport. Greeted by staff who asked if I was checking in. English was spoken and asked if I could speak Japanese. Complimentary drink was offered while I waited(seated) for the check in paperwork. After check in, escorted to room by a lady in Kimono, she explained the main points in the room,...

The lobby is quite simple and old fashioned looking. But our Japanese suite with private onsen, ocean-front views was very nice. We had 2 huge rooms which could sleep 8 people, on futons on the floor. There were 2 toilets. The private onsen has a wonderful view of the ocean and we could see the squid fishing boats, with bright...

All up I paid 52K Yen for my experience there, if you are already paying that much for an ocean view room with ensuite Onsen, by all means go the distance and get the Kaiseki meal option ahead of time as the buffet has a good spread but it tastes like common food. Certainly not luxury buffet standard. Personally as...

It was indeed a great pleasure to have you staying with us at the Yunokawa Prince Hotel NAGISATEI. We are very sorry that you were not able to get the feeling of satisfaction appropriate to the price. Out buffet restaurant provides the same menu to all people who chose it. As for the dinner except the buffet, contents change depending...

The fourth star is for the Sakura! We spent 2 nights half board with open air bathtub in the room. The location is great, minutes drive for all tourist attractions. Both breakfast & dinner were buffet (a variety of choice) which included in the room rate. The hotel was a bit old and pricy, package with meals is unnecessary. To...

Thank you for staying NAGISATEI. We are very glad that you enjoyed Sakura in HAKODATE. Our dinner buffet may be more expensive than other hotels. However, you may be understand the price and quality of it. Hope you once try it.

It was a posh hotel which was reflected in the price we paid. The standard of the Japanese customer service we experienced throughout our trip was high; we expected much more from them. Good points: - It was a rainy day when we checked in. The staff pushed a trolley out and greeted us from a distance. It was a...

The dinner service was great. Impeccable service and the rooms are simply wonderful with private onsen attached. The rooms all faced the sea so we got a great view right from our windows. The common onsen was also very well equipped. Definitely a good choice.

This was our one big splurge hotel wise for our trip, and I'm glad we chose this place. The service was wonderful from the moment we walked in the door. This hotel is 10/10. We loved our experience here. From the moment you walk in you are seated at a private table to check and greeted with a welcome drink, escorted to our room.
