Tripadvisor gives a Travellers’ Choice award to accommodations, attractions and restaurants that consistently earn great reviews from travellers and are ranked within the top 10% of properties on Tripadvisor.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
This inn has a business hotel in the main building and ryokan rooms in the annex, and the hot spring water flows directly from the source. No reservation is required, and you can bathe in the private hot spring without any worries by putting up a sign saying you're not in use. The large public bath has an indoor bath and an open-air bath, and a rare electric bath. The fact that the spring water is drinkable is proof that the source is fresh. The water is moist and warm, like a transparent lotion, and it keeps you warm. There is also a kitchen, so you can still feel the atmosphere of the inn at that time. For dinner, we had a half buffet with about 10 small dishes, including hoto soup and the hotel's special curry. The variety was limited, but it was delicious. There were no alcoholic drinks provided, and some people were free to bring their own, and some people bought them at the convenience store in front of the hotel. I wonder if it's a remnant of the coronavirus countermeasures... The breakfast was a delicious buffet of locally produced food. I'd like to return after enjoying the hot spring that Lord Shingen loved.

From the south exit bus stop No. 4 of JR Kofu Station, which is the terminus of the "Azusa" and "Kaiji" limited express trains coming from Tokyo, and the "Fujikawa" limited express train coming from Shizuoka, take a Yamanashi Kotsu bus bound for Shosenkyo and other areas for about 15 minutes to the "Yumura Onsen Iriguchi" bus stop, and the hotel is a 2-3 minute walk from there. Yumura Onsen is a small hot spring town between the city of Kofu and Shosenkyo, and this is a tourist hotel with hot springs that specializes in business hotels. After checking in, a welcome drink is served in the lobby next door. Most of the rooms are singles, and like business hotels in the city, they are spacious enough to open your suitcase. The hot springs have one large bath and one open-air bath, neither of which are very large, with the large bath being a little hot, and the open-air bath being lukewarm, but with an electric bath at the back. There is a plan that includes dinner, but there are several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel building, and a convenience store right in front of it. Breakfast was buffet style with a wide variety of food, and it was very tasty, using plenty of local ingredients. As it was a business hotel, the customer service was minimal, but when I asked how to get to Shosenkyo, the staff explained things to me in detail, which was nice. Recently, it has become difficult to travel alone on the weekends, as accommodation prices have become more expensive, but this hotel is reasonable at around 10,000 yen per person per room, including breakfast, so I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

We had a spacious Japanese Room with a lobby comprising fridge on one side, bath/shower room and Western toilet on the other, then up a step was the bedroom with tatami mats on the floor, twin beds, "alcove" with tea-making facilities, sliding doors leading to a sitting area. Plenty of cupboard/wardrobe space. 7/11 store opposite. Close to shops, bus stops, Railway station approx 10 min drive away. Very helpful friendly staff, limited English, but we made ourselves understood. Breakfast/evening meal, shop and Onsen also available although we didn't use any of these facilities.

A large hotel in Kofu Yumura Onsen. I used it for a day trip bath. There are indoor and outdoor baths on the second floor of the main building. It is a hot spring that is slightly heated by pouring its own source. We have a drinking fountain permit and there is a drinking space. The water outlet has a precipitate that looks like salt. Bathing fee is 1300 yen.
